Read moreHands down the best farmers market there is. I don’t know who had the audacity to lower their rating to 4.9 because honestly they deserve a 10 out of 5. Members of the market work together more like family, everyone is so very friendly and humble. They strive to help their local community and keep this beautiful thing going. Even for those impoverished families don’t have to feel left out, with the green for greens program, they double EBT up to $50 a week, which means $100 available to spend here at the market weekly to get fresh goods. Those with EBT can feel helpless, but not here, because they can support their local economy instead of corporate giants like Walmart. There is a craft table, live entertainment from time to time. I absolutely love this market, it’s like a little festival.
Definitely a MUST TRY thing in Greensboro.
