We love visiting this playground because there is a variety of equipment, a sandbox filled with sand toys, clean bathrooms nearby plus always different kids vehicles to ride. There are also plenty of picnic tables and a few benches scattered throughout.
As soon as we pull up to park, my granddaughter says, "oh, I like this playground!" She jumps right out of her car seat to climb the jungle gym and go down the tallest slide. Then she's off to drive before riding the see saw and finally settling to play in the sandbox. Once in a while she'll head over to the swings. We have yet to explore the creek, tennis & volleyball courts.

I would walk through the park twice a day nearly every day going either to or from work at a restaurant downtown. I have been fond of the park itself since as a small child my family would meet with extended family and friends on holidays and picnic and play at everything we could from swings to beach volleyball. It was my first time going to this park and I love that it basically makes use of the extra green space between Wesley Long Hospital and Benjamin Pkwy and the neighborhoods around it. Well maintained trails, saw lots of people out playing tennis and/or pickleball, volleyball, and a nice little playground for the littles. Even better that it's tucked inside a neighborhood.
