UPDATE 12/30/2020 I WAS JUST REFUNDED FOR LEAVING THIS REVIEW! Let's just say these people are great at telling you things to diffuse the situation. I placed an order on 12/2/2020 and never received a follow up reach out didn't get a response until I started writing on their IG.. then I eventually received a response, I provided a response then never received again until I had to chase them again and again. Each time they replied to me and apologies and reassured me everything was going to be okay and they were going to ship out my order the same day (LIESSSS) I was like okay let me delete the comment so others don't be frightening but in reality I think that was a disservice to other potential customers. I deleted the comment each time because they said they will be shipping out my order that same day... now it's been TWO TIMES they've told me they will ship my order "today" (12/16/2020 @ 2:37 & 12/28/2020 @2:30) and it's all been lies.... I asked for the tracking number on 12/29/2020 at 4:50 PM since I was told my order would be shipped the day before the person I was speaking to did not reply to me but instead they went ahead and created my shipping label at 7:56 PM "December 29, 2020, 7:52 pm Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item GROSSE POINTE, MI 48236" after they reassured me that my order was going to be shipped the day before.... Like from our email I tried to be understanding and calm but truthfully I will never ever patronize with these people again. there's no excuse as to why I order on 12/2/2020 and for it to be 12/30/2020 for me to still not receive my order and continuously being lied to about when they will ship my order!!! the fact that the label was create 8PM at night means that they haven't event actually dropped the package and got it scanned at the post office... 12/31/2020 is New Years Eve and 01/01/2021 is Friday the post office is going to be close in addition to them being backed up on mail....I purchase these with the intent to start using them in my 2021 packaging and these people dropped the freaking ball and I am so upset!!!!! If processing "due to covid" is going to take 25-30 days and be the excuse then that should have been reflected in the policies so customers are aware before purchase! Just be aware that you will be lied to numerous times and it really leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth when people keep trying to play with your intelligence... as much as I wanted to support this business due to another influencer promoting them I will not.... I wasn't going to even write this but it just really infuriates me even will all the back and forth and lack of communication I was still trying to work with them.... now the fact that they only created the label at 8 PM at night after waiting so long on a order that was placed on 12/2/2020!!!! grrrrr (I also create label from home so I know how the labels work.... I go to the post office and WAIT in line so they can scan the package otherwise there no real way of reassuring your customer the post office is in possession of the item..) For all I know the label was createD and still haven't been dropped off at the post office and actually got scanned and have a receipt to show assure the package was scanned the same day it was...

A group of us attended a soap making event and it was great. A very relaxed, fun, and creative way to spend an evening. I can't say enough good things about our instructor Nissa. She was fun, funny, chill, knowledgeable, and efficient. She gave us the how-tos and then encouraged us to do our thing creatively.

We each made multiple soaps. TBL provided a choice of mold shapes, natural high quality mica colorants, a variety of fruity, flowery, gourmand, and earthy scents, and several dried botanical add-ins. Everyone's soaps were were beautiful, unique, and smelled wonderful.

While we waited for our soaps to cure we enjoyed great conversation with the other attendees and had a chance to check out the items for sale in store.

I took an immediate and strong liking to their Peach Blossom and Vanilla Noir scented whipped body creme. I opened it before even leaving the store and rubbed what was on the inside of the lid into my arms. Wow! I have never used a body product that melted so quickly into the skin. No greasy residue at all. And the scent is that of high quality, expensive perfume. I kept smelling myself the rest of the night and it was still subtly lingering the next morning. The best kind of scent, not overpowering, where someone has to get close to take it in, or it wafts delightfully behind you as you move.

I busted out one of the soaps I made first thing when I got home. They use a shea butter soap base and it makes the most delicious, thick, creamy lather. It feels really luxurious. Superior rinsability. And again, like the body creme, the quality scent lingers in the most delightful way.

Highly recommend the soap making class as a fun, relaxing, almost meditative way to spend an evening and I would definitely buy products from...

Great atmosphere and I had a wonderful evening with my mom! This place could have easily earned a 5 star review but the “expert instruction” mentioned over and over in the ad was 100% non existent. We were basically made to fend for ourselves and was told there would be a demonstration but that never happened. Very vague instructions were printed out on a sheet. 3 out of the 4 employees couldn’t answer any question asked and one even admitted she’d never even made the soap herself before.

Disappointing that we were confused half the time and trying to just see what worked. I’m not thrilled with how my soap turned out because I didn’t know what to do. It would have been so much better with some guidance or some tips and tricks.

Also too many of the materials needed were first come first serve (no good molds to choose from by the time it got to us) or shared by everyone at the table so it was frustrating needing to wait or ask for something to move to the next step.

I am shocked to see they only have 5 star reviews. My guess is this is only because about halfway through they bribe you with a free product for a review on the spot and it seemed like everyone did it, except me and my mom.

Again, the location was beautiful and this could have easily been a 5 star experience but their staff are not knowledgeable, like at all, and this led to me receiving a subpar outcome and product when it had the full potential to...
