Starbucks — Restaurant in Grosse Pointe Woods

This Starbies is a bit unreliable. I come here pretty often, unlike the other Mack location I used to go, which I completely gave up on in about 2021. Anyway this starbies is unreliable because sometimes the line is out the door, it is crazy and unpleasant, and half the time my order is messed up. Something really simple that I am always surprised about is that I order extra cream in my cold brew and it looks like it is not even normal cream. This has happened the last two times and now I am afraid to go there anymore. I don’t love the way coffee tastes and they don’t have cream at the bar in carafes anymore, I am not sending a drink back at starbies, just something I don’t do because I think it’s tacky and embarrassing. I am not defending my taste in coffee, I know it is also tacky, but it is what I like. Anyway last time I went to a gas station and got some creams to add but the coffee is still in my refrigerator, I didn’t drink any of it - maybe that is a me issue. I usually don't write a review at least a bad review unless the service was Way beyond horrible .first I would like to let you know that I frequently visit this establishment on my way to work. it's often really busy long lines not a problem that's why I prepare myself and come to work early so that I can get my drink or my protein box and make it to work on time. .I am highly disappointed in my visit today not only did I wait 11 minutes for a drink that was non-existent because they didn't have dragon fruit the cashier didn't know or she was not informed I also had to wait an extra 3 minute to receive my refund which I never took because for some reason the young lady couldn't even open the cash register so she had to keep restarting the transaction I would never come here again ever I will share my experience as much as I can I work at the hospital.. This is a good Starbucks. There is plenty of parking at the back of the store so that you don't have to park on Mack.

My drinks and food were done quickly and they were done well. I stayed for about 1.5 hours to get work done. I couldn't connect to th Wifi.

I placed two separate orders, both through the app. Ordering through the app is the way to go. It eliminates standing in line and having to place an order with one of the workers. I'm sure the workers prefer that people order through the app as well so that they don't have to deal with people as much. I know I would if I was working there.

My only complaint is that it gets quite crowded and there isn't a lot of seating. A lot of middle and high schoolers came in and were running around and making a lot of noise. Fortunately, I had my noise-canceling earbuds and was able to drown them out.
