Grundy Town Center — Local services in Grundy

It needs more stores. The Walmart is the center piece of this plaza. The Walmart is atop a 2 story "parking garage" that doesn't allow extended parking. The Walmart store is smaller then most other Walmarts due to being on top of the garage. The "shopping" in this plaza consists of Walmart, Cato, Shoe Sensation, and a Factory Connection. There is a very nice Mexican restaurant (El Sombrero), a nearby Taco Bell, Subway, and a TCBY yogurt shop for food. There is also a Double Kwik fuel station with deli. The hype for this mall was completely over-rated. Sure it's three stories tall, but two of those are parking garages. The actual store itself is somewhat smaller than most regular Wal-Marts. It's very poorly stocked on items, basically just the essentials. The information from its employees is definitely lacking, when you have to help them find an item after they sent you on a wild goose chase, then there is a issue. However, the rest of the experience is typically very much Wal-Mart, nothing fancy just a variety of sometimes reasonably...
