I don't know how anyone can eat here. I sat at the bar and watched the staff come and go, each serving from the bar whomever they encountered. I watched so many events of cross contamination, I couldn't eat there. The service, I am positive, was completely lacking, no follow up, no understanding of basic English. They serve mostly bottled beer and imported to boot, so no screw off tops. I watched at least 5 separate servers open bottled beer with a knife sat on the filthy counter,that was taken from a customers plate. I then watched those same servers place limes into those bottles of beer without cleaning their hands after handling dirty plates, and money. I also watched the guy in charge, sit at the bar and text his friends while sitting in the filth left from a previous customer. He didn't once clean up the plates or crumbs or anything from the previous customer. Rather, he sat there and spoke unpleasantly about the customers in Spanish. Upon leaving, I watched families coming in there and I wanted to tell them to eat somewhere safer. This place is a true disappointment. Being the only watering hole in Grundy, I have no idea why no one has done anything about the real poor service and basic understanding of food handling safety. This place could use an overhaul...
Read moreVery bad customer service. One of the server who said he was also the restaurant manager brought me a wrong order and then was cursing me out and wanted to fight me outside.
I told him I want a taco platter but he only brought me one taco instead of the platter that comes with rice and beans it wasn’t that big of a deal but this guy just lost it and started speaking in devil tongues and telling me if I want to go outside and fight.
Not sure what was his problem but I felt like he was was on drugs at that moment or day.
Never did I see any server act this way especially a restaurant manager.
Other servers are not bad just the Manager.

We walked by the restaurant and decided to eat there the next day, because it smelled so good. The decor is definitely not understated. :) The menu was longer than any Mexican restaurant's menu we have seen from coast to coast. I prefer my nachos with just cheese and jalapenos, so I ordered them that way. The cheese was skimpy so I couldn't give this place 5 stars. But everything served was hot and fresh, but on the mild side, probably to cater to clientele not accustomed to super spicy.
