After always raving about this store to others for their willingness to help, friendliness, and being a smaller business, I regret having done so after tonight's encounter. I pulled in at 5:58 to see three people standing near the front. One man in particular looked at me, walked up to the window, and meticulously turned the open sign to closed. He then proceeded to slowly walk over to the door (at which point I thought he was going to be kind and wave me in) and instead turn the lock, also meticulously...all while looking directly at me. He seemed to get off on being able to take something away from someone. I simply needed a padlock for a Uhaul before a cross country move in the morning. That's it. 60 seconds and I would've been out. Instead I had to run across town and support a large box store and this business has received a 1-star review. The customer service here is unmatched. You walk in and are immediately greeted. I was offered a helping hand to find what I was looking for and informed of some of the good sales they have going on which I got something out of that I needed and completely had forgotten about. The people that work here are SO nice and accommodating… you can tell it’s genuine. I truly have never received such care like this anywhere I have shopped; customers are priority. Too many times I have been here, received EXCELLENT service EVERYTIME, they will hold off the phone rings for the customer in store.(unlike dominos, autozone, big name corporation,etc.) So if you ever call and no one answers first ring, it’s only because they are truly putting value into their customer service.
