Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The restaurant appeared to be very clean. I'm not from here and when I pulled up there were a lot of trucks (semis) in the parking lot which worried me a little; but, only because of all of the talk of women being snatched up and I was alone. Jo was such an incredible waitress! She was accommodating and friendly. I suddenly started to feel ill because of a medication change, yet she didn't treat me any differently she just helped me pack up my food and brought me my to go drink. I LOOOVE the fresh veggies and ranch given as a starter, those were delicious, and made me very happy. I didn't get to eat much of the steak because I got sick, but I tried a bite. It was sooo delicious! Best steak I have had, hands down. I didn't get to taste my sauteed mushrooms or sweet potato yet, so not sure how those taste I'm sure great though. Here are my two critiques the fried mushrooms for appetizers are decent, but because mushrooms are pretty spongy and flavorless- your batter needs more flavor. Some salt or garlic salt maybe. And, lastly the cheesecake although not bad has a strong almost velveeta taste to it. It is lacking granulated sugar or powdered sugar and vanilla. It also needs to have the cream cheese cut back and add a squeeze of lemon.
Overall, even with my critiques I was very satisfied with my food, atmosphere, and the amazing...
Read moreEdit: If a customer sends something back to the kitchen, the should manager should obviously get involved immediately. This place has been in business for 50 years and they missed the part where the customer did get someone involved. Staff should bring in a manager it’s not the customers job to send for the chain of command.
$30 Steak in the microwave. When the plate arrived at my table, the waitress tried walking away but I could visually see how undercooked it was, so I quickly grabbed my steak knife and cut into it. I ordered my steak medium rare, it came out blue. I like blood, but this was so underdone compared to what I asked and that the Bacon wrapped around the edge was also undercooked. The waitress asked if I wanted her to have them throw it back on the grill and I said yes. She took the plate and went to the kitchen. She was back to drop my plate off in a minute and thirty seconds flat. My steak had not moved since I cut into it but now it was less blue. I’m positive they threw my $30 steak in the microwave. That’s when I snapped this picture. I tipped the lady well and didn’t say any thing then, but seriously if you’re planning on eating anywhere else in this...
Read moreWhere do I start, I decided to trust Google reviews and take a chance at eating here. We are not from here, but are currently working in the area. When we walked into the restaurant, we noticed it is a very old establishment. Smelled more like a dirty bar than a steak house. The flooring is old, dirty and in bad condition, the tables are old and cheap with cheap decor. The food was mediocre and not worth the cost. Steak had no flavor at all. The waitress was very nice. We decided to sit at the bar and have a few drinks after finishing our meal. The bartender/manager was friendly enough to us, but her constant bad mouthing of patrons leaving the restaurant left a bad taste in my mouth. I only wonder what she said of us as a soon as we walked out the door. We...
