Greensburg Farm Market — Local services in Halfway

I shop here weekly to support small farming. It's also in a good location - right off Virginia Ave. - with plenty of parking. Lots of flowers and canned local honey, jams, candies. The produce is generally excellent quality. EXCEPT for the prepared containers of produce. They will always put bruised produce in the bottom. You think it's a deal until you get home and have to throw away two out of the six apples you bought. I realize the profit margin must be tiny in this business but they will lose more money over time by alienating their customers. That said - if you go - it is better to hand pick the loose...

Only place I get my hanging baskets!!!! Hands down the BIGGEST BLOOMS n hearty foilage. Prices are great too. They have risen their prices over past coupla years but that's just economics but the QUALITY IS ALWAYS GREAT, so a few bucks is fine, plus they are convenient to my house. Ladies at register are knowledgeable on the plants, if I'm inquiring about the care of them needed. Sometimes the one lady, if not busy, will help me with carts...I buy a good many at once, just can't...

I went in to get some catnip plants. I was told no, they have them; however, they were covered up because it was going to freeze tonight (this conversation happened at 11 am) and then it felt like I was being talked to like a little kid. I was going to buy 24 plus a few other herbs. I am rarely in this neighborhood and I thought making a large purchase at a small business would be good. Guess...
