I shop here weekly to support small farming. It's also in a good location - right off Virginia Ave. - with plenty of parking. Lots of flowers and canned local honey, jams, candies. The produce is generally excellent quality. EXCEPT for the prepared containers of produce. They will always put bruised produce in the bottom. You think it's a deal until you get home and have to throw away two out of the six apples you bought. I realize the profit margin must be tiny in this business but they will lose more money over time by alienating their customers. That said - if you go - it is better to hand pick the loose...

They have risen their prices over past coupla years but that's just economics but the QUALITY IS ALWAYS GREAT, so a few bucks is fine, plus they are convenient to my house. Ladies at register are knowledgeable on the plants, if I'm inquiring about the care of them needed. Sometimes the one lady, if not busy, will help me with carts...I buy a good many at once, just can't...
