Hornung's True Value — Local services in Halifax Township

My local repairman was on vacation so I decided to take my leaf blower to the Halifax store where i had bought it, to be repaired. When I dropped it off I was told it was a quick repair, they assumed it was an ignition coil and that they cost around $10. I looked them up on line and that is what they cost. 2 weeks later I called looking for my blower only to be told that they had just ordered the part that day. I called after another 2 week's only to be told that it was in God's hands when it would be fixed. I went to pick it up today and the bill was $139. God's prices must have skyrocketed. For another $50 ,I could have bought a new one. I strongly advise everyone to never go there...

I can't thank this store enough for being open on Sundays. They have saved me several times over the last couple of years since I've moved to the area. Most recently for a shower valve repair and a toilet flange repair. The staff is knowledgeable and still has that "let me show you where it's at" mentality. The customer service is so much better than trying to chase someone down in an orange apron. Thank you, thank you. Don't ever change that...

Absolutely fantastic, they provided efficient, professional and knowledgeable service. Great staff and location, they were always ready to lend a hand with loading.
