MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS EVERY TIME!
My BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that, EVERY TIME I shop here, I have to check my receipt. And, EVERY TIME, there is something that did not ring up correctly and they have to go back and fix it.
The male manager acts like it is such a pain and problem for him to correct the problem. They do not keep the prices accurate with the shelf tags. I KNOW I would loose at least $20 a month if I didn't keep an eye on my receipts.
I am not the kind of person who likes to take advantage of stores, but I want to pay the amount that is posted on the shelf. Examples of items that usually ring up wrong: 2 liter sodas (when they are buy 3 and you get them for $1 each), produce, marked down meat, and sale items.

Read moreThe staff here are always kind and great. They get 5 stars from me. My 2 star review is for the superior management of DG or the owner of this particular store. Most if not all employees are 50+ and having to work in temperatures that are hotter than the outdoor temps, which are 90°+. I bet whoever is responsible wouldn't let a child, especially their own, sit in a hot car or work in a hot store but they're okay with someone's mom or grandma doing it. Really whoever owns or runs this place is lucky that their staff is older because anyone younger would have quit long. I hope the team comes together and decides for no one to show up for a few days so they'll do something about it. There are way to many DG's around here to settle for one...
Read morePrices good. Store looked great. But the cashier..... From the moment I walked in (she was with a customer then... And even did it with me) she was on her smart phone. Not talking. Responding to texts or social media. Very impersonal transaction. I don't expect her to tell me her life story. But some conversation would be nice.
I understand that her job isn't the most "professional" job one could have. But it was the most unprofessional experience from the second I walked in to the second I waked out. The least she could do is turn off the sounds on the phone to where I couldn't hear her unlocking the screen or pressing keys.
