Walgreens — Local services in Hallsville

Never cared for walgreens as they are expensive and rude case in point Hallsville Tx Brookshires. I left walgreens for Brookshires then walgreens buys out the pharmacy. My entire family has been treated like crap there and apparently many others. I drive 25 miles for my perscriptions now to krogers instead of 3 miles to walgreens. Definatly worth the drive and time to be treated respectfully and the prices more than make up for the gas and time. Since changing to Krogers not only have i saved money i have been treated with a smile and now since i am there i hrocery shop there now as well. Who ever heard of a pharmacy that was only open thru the week, my doctor called in a prescription late Friday evening and I went by today ( Saturday ) to get it and they were closed. Though it might have been due to the upcoming holiday so I checked their hours and they are only open Monday thru Friday. At least when it was a Brookshire pharmacy they were open on Saturdays to take care of the people in a small rural town, guess Walgreens doesn't care. I will be moving my prescriptions to Wal Mart, at least they stay open so people who have to work Monday thru Friday can...

Ever since they bought out brookshires this place is awful. Case in point I have surgery Friday, they didn't have the post op RX filled before they closed so I go in Saturday to pick them up and find out via a not taped to the window they are closed on Saturdays. So I try and get them transferred to longview, apparently they can't transfer an unfilled prescription for pain meds between stores without a Dr calling in a whole new prescription.
