This Whataburger has by far the worst customer service. In the drive-through I told them I had a coupon and when I go to the window they say that my survey doesn’t work on a bacon cheeseburger so I tell them that Longview does it for me all the time and I just add bacon . He gets his manager. The manager walks up very aggressively telling me that they cannot apply it so I tell him that I’m not going to pay for any of my food if they don’t apply the coupon that I spent time on. He said I shot myself in the foot when I added bacon. They end up applying the coupon and then charged me for food that I did not buy to make up the difference. It was a large drink and large french fry. I never got any of that. My bacon cheeseburger was meat and bread only. My sweet tea was unsweet. They took all of their anger and aggression out on me because they did not know how, or did not want to apply my coupon. As I pull off the manager starts yelling at a lady in lane B . They purposely sabotaged my meal and was aggressive towards me soooo who am I to complain to? I can’t go talk to the same aggressive manager.
I work in a similar business so I know how you’re supposed to talk to customers. The original employee that I spoke to before the manager walked up was doing everything in his power to talk his way out of not let me use the coupon and why it doesn’t work. What I don’t like is still having to deal with slower than slow service, for a fast food establishment. I still find that there’s a shortage of workers. I just don’t understand this still, and never will. Food is good here, service needs a lot of work. To have 2 in front of you in the drive thru line, and wait for 30 min to order, and then receive your food, is still ridiculous. Also, sad as it is, gone are the days of receiving service with a smile. I always thank the drive thru attendants, but rarely do I receive a hi, bye, thank you, and how can I help you tonight, or we appreciate your business, or have a great night, or a you’re welcome back, or any of the above, not even 20% of the time. Read moreThis will be the last time I give my business to this Whataburger. We have went several times over the last few months. I have issues with an older white lady that works there and a black lady that works there during the morning shifts on Saturdays. Can’t eat in peace with my wife without being asked questions. Went to refill my drink as i was leaving and the white older lady wouldn’t let me refill because she was cleaning the nozzles, which should have been done at the end of her shift so I walked out without a refill. We were only given two napkins for our messy burgers. When the black lady came over and asked if we needed anything, my wife asked for some more napkins, and she had an attitude about it, which were not out for the public to get. My family and I will not be eating here again until these individuals no longer work there. I will give other businesses my business where i dont have to deal with the harassment and attitude...
