Main Street Coffee House — Restaurant in Hallsville

I guess I went on a bad day. Or maybe the other people leaving reviews know the owners? Either way I expected more. This place is proud of their overpriced products. I went to the main street coffee house expected some fresh homemade food or fresh baked pastries they didn't purchase from sam's or donut palace. Disappointed in the selection, I began to ask the friendly lady behind the counter about a croissant or maybe a breakfast sandwich. Only to discover they use frozen egg patties and process "american" cheese on the croissant bought at sam's. I decided on a microwaved pig in a blanket that tasted very similar to the much cheaper pigs in a blanket that could have been purchase at the doughnut place (which I do recommend, It's delicious and priced appropriately). Lilly and Leah served me today. It was mine and my daughter’s first time here. We went to the drive through and Lilly helped my daughter (6) figure out what she wanted, and even made sure she got approval from the kiddo that she liked her smoothie (KIDS CAN BE PICKY!!). I question their honesty due to their Facebook page having so many likes. Even the reviews are from foreign people who don’t even live in the US. There are “like” generators on FB and you can actually purchase pages with a high amount of likes. Either way, my personal experience here isn’t good, you get snarky looks for unhealthy drink/food choices here after your unusually long wait. Driving to Longview is worth it for better...
