Colonial Memorial Park Cemetery — Local services in Hamilton Township

My sister in law was found this note on our parents headstone on 5/22/2019. Stating that we can't bring our personal lawnmowers to cut the grass around the headstone. Are you freakin kidding me. The palace is like a jungle over there. This cemetery is horrible. Worst kept cemetery in Hamilton Twp. My brother and sister in law have to go over there twice a week to cut the grass because no one else does it. We go over there and the grass is never less than 5 to 6 inches tall. It's crazy. It's like that cemetery is in the middle of the ghetto. It's disgusting. You complain to the office they do nothing about it but promise to get it cleaned up. They have so many rules and regulations over there but the place is a dump. We go over there to make our parents grave look good and the grounds keeper states we make the cemetery look bad because there is a path getting to our parents grave. No it doesn't make the cemetery look bad. It make the people who are paid to keep the grounds up look like trash. I recommend that no one takes there loved ones there. We try to make thing look better but get told we can't do this or that. Sickening...

I ordered a marker for my brother's grave back at the beginning of the year. The marker has been delivered to them July 20, 2016. They have not placed the marker but have cashed the check for the marker to be placed on June 20, 2016. Tomorrow is the 5 yr anniversary of my brother's death and guess what? Still no marker. Calling them directs you to another cemetery which takes your information and advises someone will call you back. This person never calls back. If you have a choice or opportunity to bury a loved one somewhere else........choose the other place. Going to file a complaint...

Was there yesterday and 5 x times in the last two years to place flowers on my dad's grave, grass was close to 6 inches tall and looked like it hadn't been cut in a couple months every time i visited - "Disgraceful" if you ask me, I could not even find my fathers grave because it just wasn't there/buried in the weeds, unfreakingbelieaveable that hole of a cemetery is still in business. Stay away from this place - find a better place to lay your loved one, one that cares about those they lay to rest and...
