I am a former employee with many years experience in the food/hospitality industry, and I have to say this was the absolute worst job I have ever had. The comments from customers don’t even begin to describe how horrible this store is. Anyone with a strong desire to do the right thing has to fail in order to not shed light on the failures of others. Being a hard worker will only result in you being taken advantage of and portrayed as “problematic”. Dysfunction is the “norm” and anybody who can’t adapt becomes the culprit. Nobody cares about anything. They don’t care about customers. They sure don’t care about providing good service or quality workmanship. Management wants customers to be served quickly but trying to do so will only result in push-back by coworkers. There are two workstations, but only one will be used at a time, and many times only one person will be left working that station while three others are fooling around doing nothing. It’s no wonder the food is slow coming out especially when that one person is left not only preparing the food, but also replacing items that are low or depleted. This particular location hires mainly inner-city young people with absolutely no work ethic or desire to succeed. The hostility that exists is off the charts. It’s truly sad because this store is not a true example of what Wawa’s culture is all about. Hopefully, one day someone from Corporate will take the time to do an undercover investigation. They will be shocked to say the very least. Anyone who is thinking about employment with Wawa should check out the area stores and stay completely away...
Read moreI come here a lot! I mean a lot! It’s on my way to/from work so I stop ALL the time! I really don’t know what is wrong with the people in the deli (there are a couple who are amazing don’t get me wrong) but, it seems like something is always wrong with my order! My order is basic ham and cheese lettuce onions oil vinegar mayo and hot peppers. Seems easy right? WRONG! They always forget something! Like tonight my husband got a no bun DOUBLE burger with American cheese and bacon. That was it! Guess what though? They FORGOT the BACON!! which normally isn’t a big deal but it’s a $1+ up charge! So I’m paying for stuff that I’m not getting!! I also got a baked potato soup (size medium) and asked for sour cream another upcharge! Guess what though? I didn’t receive my sour cream either! This is just the icing on the cake the cherry on top you might ask?! I asked for fajita veggies in my quesadilla (another 1+ up charge) and I didn’t get that either! I never get any of my “upcharged” items! If I have to guess on the amount I lost on from these “up charges” it would be about $20 a MONTH! Yes you read that right $20 a month! Why I keep coming here I don’t even know anymore! Wawa used to be amazing and accommodating! Now, it’s gone down hill! Guess I’ll go up the street to quick check! Maybe they’ll get my order right! Maybe, just maybe I won’t be losing out on $20 in up charges that...
Read moreAlways packed and hard to get in and out of the parking lot, they couldn't have picked a worse location with the circle right there. On top of that don't get food here. I don't know if there's something wrong with the people who make the sandwiches and stuff, but for some reason they don't know how to make anything I order. Sandwiches all come with meat and a small pinch of lettuce, regardless of what veggies you order on it. Onions? Not today! Tomatoes? Maybe if you're lucky! Further idk who makes the bread for this locations, but they must be trying to save money everywhere because you can't even call it a sub roll it's so tiny. Literally the only thing the over-achieved on was the meat on the sandwich which I think only looks like an achievement because of how little of anything else there is. The only thing I can say in their favor is the lady at the...
