Broad Street Diner — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

My stars are based directly from the food aspect. Service and atmosphere are just fine. Before reviewing this diner we visited twice to get the full experience. My family of four went for one dinner service and one breakfast service. The dinner service was the better of the two. Me and my wife got turkey clubs which is a diner staple and they were just ok. Smaller than you would fine at other diners but the flavor was ok. The coleslaw was super super sweet so to our taste it felt like they went overboard with the sugar. Our kids got kids meals which were nothing to rave about. Total bill was $40 ish dollars before tip so felt like a good value. The following week we went for breakfast and it just seemed very average. We got an omelette, French toast, waffle and a 2 egg plate. Waffle and French toast were good however the omelette was over cooked and the peppers and onions inside it were still raw. Think they just mixed everything together and put it on the flattop instead of cooked the veggies before adding the egg. The biggest issue was when the waitress came to check on us my wife was in the process of grabbing a piece of toast and hanging from it was a very very long strand of hair. The waitress saw it as we did and immediately apologized but that’s where it ended. Their was no manager follow up or any type of accommodation for the inconvenient situation. Didn’t even offer to replace the toast. I forgot to mention the hash browns seem to have undercooked potatoes here and there but most were fine. Anyway the total cost for breakfast was $60 before tip and to be honest just didn’t seem worth it. While we found a value on the dinner the breakfast fell flat. There are other diners close by that offer the same menu with bigger portions that are better food quality when it comes...

The Macaroni casserole is the best from the broad street diner !!! I’ll say I love most of the waiters and 1-2 waitress !! But other wise broad street diner is a great place to eat or take out !! Great astablishment !! Just I don’t like the judging , laughter or mockery !! Cause no one is better than anyone !! Here we were all down and out at one time and each and everyone of us has walked the life of addiction in some way shape or form !! Here I personally applaud each and everyone of u that have over came addiction and have multiple years of clean time !! But here were not suppose to laugh or judge some one bettering them selfs !! Here I came for a job in there got hired and the next day I came in for training I was let go because of the laughter and judging and talking about me and my past !! Here we all have a past and a future and I am living a future in my life !! I’m 35 years old I don’t care what u people say or think of when I come in there to eat !! I respect each and everyone of u regardless of our past or ins and out !! Here I come in there because me and my mom have been coming there for years since I was a baby and it was manettas !! Here please from now on when I come in let’ just keep it nice and about my dinner and let me and my mother enjoy our time together ! Here my mother was upset that all that transpired ! Unfortunately, they have lost a customer due to our experience tonight. We always order to go and today was no different. My wife arrived a few minutes before me and was waiting at the counter when I got there. They have a policy that even though their specials are until 11, they stop sauté dishes at 9 (which is usually 1/2 their entrees). That's fine because I got to the counter at 8:42. 14 minutes later, 8:56, we go to order Chicken Vodka Rigatoni and are told that they stopped making sauté entrees but "I'll check for you." So our waitress comes back out and says it is okay. So we repeat "Vodka Rigatoni with Chicken", one salad with French and a Caesar salad with extra Caeser. She says "oh, hold on I'm confused by the salads." Really?! So she confirms a garden salad with French and a Caesar salad and we finish our order. We get home and guess what, both are Caesar salads with French and Caesar on the side instead of the garden salad. Then we get to the Vodka Rigatoni and NO CHICKEN! So 5 strikes: wait time, saying no more sauté even though we're before the cutoff time, can't take to an order properly, wrong salad, and no chicken. Our server's name was "J.J" according to the receipt.
