My 4 year old and I visited today for the first time. The owner did a wonderful job showing us around, asking about our interests, and helping us find some great picks. She started with my son and once he'd grabbed books like it was a library, she showed him where he could peruse his finds so I could have the chance to find something for myself. I had just been talking to Pam about how I was into Stephen King when I was younger so I was looking for something similar but not King. It turns out that Heart Shaped Box was the first book written by Joe Hill…aka Stephen King’s son! Eery how...
