To say I can never trust a groomer again is an understatement. We’ve been taking my dog here for the past 4-5 years. Had a great relationship with the groomer and never had any issues. The last time we went she had called me to let me know I could pick my dog up. When I got there she said he had started limping and when she was blow drying him he started bleeding? Odd how bleeding can happen from blow drying but I wasn’t looking too much into in until I saw my dog. He was not himself at all. He wasn’t excited to see me like he normally was, he limped and had a gash on his leg. The groomer gave me $25 back. My dog struggled to get in my car and he still was not himself so we took him to an emergency animal hospital. His hip was shattered. So bad that putting him down was an option. We tried to contact the groomer through call and text and she did not respond, only her secretary and husband would talk to us. The ladies are all very polite and it's obvious that they truly care about animals and are passionate about their profession. When we pick our poodle up he is excited to see us but is stress free and doesn't need to be walked right away. He isn't kept in a kennel and is let out during his grooming so that his experience is a kind and humane one. Whenever we have taken him to a commercial pet groomer, he comes out stressed and rushing for the door. Here he makes himself comfortable while we discuss his grooming session with his groomer and pay. We will not be taking our poodle...
Read moreMy dog hates his nails cut so I always take him to the vet to have them done...he's always anxious and upset the whole time. They have to hold him down using 3 or 4 people to do it. I decided I would try taking him to Tara to see if he would do any better. I took him in, he was calm and happy..she clipped his nails with her husband just lightly holding on to him...he never struggled or even moved, he was happy as a clam, he just looked around and never moved!!! Thank you for making a nail trim a happy experience for him that once...
