Cedar Lake Kitchen — Restaurant in Hanover Township

Lightest, fluffiest, tastiest pancakes ever! It is so deceiving how they can be so light that I only put a little syrup on my top pancake and it made all the way to the bottom pancake, which I soon found out I could have skipped it all together. These were so delicious they didn't need syrup. I would have eaten them cold. ( if I had leftovers 😋) Too bad they aren't totally carb free or calorie free or waist line free. Maybe, just maybe since they are so light they will not impact my waist line?! 😁 I going to run with that idea. So I also had a side of crispy bacon 🥓 which they didn't fail at either. It was 👌 perfect. I struggled with my decision about the omelette, but I went with the California (I think that is what it was called). It had bacon, guacamole, tomatoes, onion and cheese. My concern was that the I wouldn't like the guacamole because I am very particular (not that anyone would have guessed). Anyway, it could make or break the whole meal. I am in shock and awe to say 👏 BRAVO, they knocked it out of the park. I like to spice it up, so I shook a little tapito on it. I left that place without a leftover box feeling fat...

This restaurant has a comfortable, community feel to it. Many people from within Cedar Lake stop in for coffee, chatter, and laughter. They may leave, but return for a meal later on in the day. We went to Cedar Lake Kitchen for breakfast. Our waitress was very friendly. She seemed to be every where at once. Drinks are passed out. Food orders taken. Drinks refilled. Food orders presented to guests. Refill drinks again. Anything missing, no? During this entire time our waitress had been professionally been taking care of other guests at different tables. I Ordered a cup of broccoli cheddar from there a few days ago and there was a bug in my soup the waitress apologized and took my soup back to the cook to show em all she did was took my soup off my bill mind you I didn't even eat a lot of it but still got food from there bc I was hungry the manger didn't even come a apologize for it or anything I worked in customer service before and I should had got my food for free but whatever never going to eat there again I'll take my money else where...oh and then a few days later my mother law ordered a coup of lemon rice and she also had a bug in her soup as well!!
