River Run Canoe Livery — Local services in Hanover Township

Very disappointed in the River Run Canoe Livery. At the destination point, the ground was completely covered in trash, from the parking lot where picking up of people occurs, and the trash extended down to the river. Extremely sad to see, because your company makes money off of the river, but you can't do your part keeping it clean. The young boy in charge of transporting people back to their cars was sitting in his red truck. I commented on how horrible it looked and his response was it's too much to clean up because people trash it everyday. This disgusting mess was not from one day. My grandson and I picked up all of the garbage in the parking lot, but there was still plenty by the river we weren't able to get to. Please do better for our earth. There's no reason your employees should be sitting in a truck waiting for who knows how long for people to show up, when he could be cleaning up the messes. Thank you...

The experience on the river was - well, crowded. It was very crowded! We had several people that didn't know how to steer ramming into us. As well you couldn't lay back and relax at any point because you had to keep your eye on hitting others. Worse yet - this is NOT a covid-19 sensitive business. Take sanitizer - wipe down your equipment. And the bus you get on at the end was PACKED. Several drunk people yelling to each other over seats - not to mention no one was 6 feet apart. 2 week quarantined again to keep my older family safe from the virus. I guess we should have thought of this - but being so close to Columbus, I would have thought this was an expectation...

7.5 down the river makes it a perfect upper body workout. Though the one day I went and got rained on, it was still a good experience. Recommended for the young adult range, awesome place to intertube/kayake/canoe with more than one person. Fishing is allowed, but during the summer, it gets busy. Usually, it is $26 per person, but it's worth it since there's plenty of water to row on for three hours. Oh, and did I mention that alcohol is allowed as well? There will be a bus at the end of the designated area to take you back to the boathouse where you rented the raft, so if you ARE driving, drink RESPONSIBLY! Other than that,...
