The service at this Ace Hardware is truly above and beyond. I was stranded in the parking lot outside the store when the engine cover came loose on my car. I was 45 minutes from home with my daughter and two grandchildren.

I walked into Ace Hardware and asked if they had a toolkit I could use to remove the metal piece dragging from the bottom of my vehicle. Dennis gathered his own tools, came outside, crawled under my car, and started removing the bolts and screws. When he didn’t have the exact tool he needed, he went back inside the store to get more.

While Dennis worked on my car, my grandchildren enjoyed the free popcorn offered to customers and loved looking at all the fabulous Halloween decorations. When I tried to pay Dennis for his time, he refused. He helped me out of the kindness of his heart because I was in need.

I had an absolutely excellent experience at the Ace Hardware store in Harrison Twp at 16 Mile and Crocker. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the exceptional customer service continued throughout our visit. The staff took time to walk us through our project in detail, explaining the process and potential risks s o we felt confident moving toward. The store was clean, well-organized- fully staffed, there was always someone available to assist. I was especially impressed with the care and thought they took into cutting our plexiglass. It was cut perfectly and clear attention to detail. We truly appreciate how helpful and knowledgeable the team was. It is rare to find this level of service these days....

Friendly staff but not very knowledgeable. Bought paint just a quart of paint and primer and it did not cover anything a small spot at all. So I brought it back and I was questioned if I basically knew what I was doing when it comes to painting. I explained this product is like water. She brought it to the test and I had to laugh to myself. They didn't want to refund my money and finally said a one time courtesy..lol ok whatever now I know why I will drive the extra two...
