I like to wipe down the cart when I come in because who wants to catch a cold or virus or whatever is going around at the time The meat department is. Hudson’s supermarket is not the largest place to buy groceries in Harrison, Arkansas, but it it is the best all-around grocery shopping experience any place near Harrison. The store has just enough canned goods and staples to provide the essentials and because it doesn’t go over the top, the shopper can buy virtually anything that he needs within a relatively small space. Hudson’s even has pickled okra, and because it is close to local farms, there is generally a section of produce that came straight from the fields. All of the produce is expertly displayed.

Hudson’s also has a deli, and it serves hot lunches everyday. Wednesday is the day for taco salads, and it is also the day that bananas are on sale at 19 cents a pound.

The dairy carries milk that has been bottled in glass bottles at dairies nearby. This old-style whole milk has old-fashioned butter fat rising to the top of the bottles. Long standard family-owned grocery store wonderful choices wonderful employees and store is always clean and no clutter. It also appears that Hudson's is suffering like many other businesses. Lack of products on the shelves and pant seem to get employees. I always go to Hudson's first. I sense the store is struggling and prices have been going up. We return to Hudson's today. We try to patronize them because they're the oldest established grocery store but each time we go there's less products on the shelves. It just looks like they're not going to make it and it's sad because like I said we like to patronize them. We have to go to other stores to get items we like to shop for.
