After checking in at the counter my husband and I went to our theater and found our seats to be covered in popcorn and licorice with a drink still sitting in the cup holder. My husband immediately started cleaning it up but I felt this was definitely unsatisfactory! I went up to speak to the manager, the front attendant hollered for him, stating they want to talk to you. The manager was sitting In the office, door open, playing on his phone. He looked up and very unenthusiastic, walked to us. I explained my frustration and he stated they were short staffed. Okay, I understand that but you’re sitting in your office, playing on your phone! I asked why he wasn’t out helping? As a manager myself, if my team is sinking I get out and help! He states he hurt his wrist and had to take brakes between working. He doesn’t have any type of brace on, I ask him if licorice is too heavy for him to clean up? He offers to clean up our seats but I decline as my husband had already done so. He continues to just stand there, without a doubt he could absolutely care less about our experience going to the theater. I thought this was the case when I was rung up and questioned it and she said no they're actually cheaper than what they are online. It was only a dollar or so difference per ticket but it is still dishonest or incompetent. The whole idea of charging more for ordering tickets in advance online is ridiculous anyway. I know most theaters do this now but isn't it better for them if they know in advance how many people they will have in the theater? Why should it cost more to give them a heads up that you're coming and commit to your ticket early? If anything you should get an online discount. Also when I arrived I asked specifically if we were on time for the movie and if it had started yet because I knew that we were running a bit late. The person at the desk said yes you're fine but it turned out that the movie had started 7 minutes earlier so we missed the opening scene. While watching the movie it was hard to understand what people are saying, the sound track sounded...
