My fiance and I recently went to Alexander’s to see if we could find a suit for me to wear at our upcoming wedding. Hadi provided us with the most amazing experience possible. He made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. My fiance had been very on the fence and quite stressed regarding the color of the suit that I would wear and he helped us find a color and suit that we both love. The suit itself fit like a glove and was tailored to me so well that I couldn’t change any aspect of it if I tried. He went out of his way to answer the many questions that my fiance had. Hadi was very fun to be around and joked with us throughout our time there as we found ourselves laughing and genuinely enjoying the unique experience he provided. The communication he provided throughout the entire process was exceptional, he kept us updated on what was going on during the process to the extent that he made us feel like we were his number one customers regardless that it was our first time in the ever purchasing from him. His products were very up to date with current fashion trends, so much so that I decided to buy a new pair of shoes from him for work. It also was surprisingly quick with how fast my suit was ready for me. In summary, if you are need of a suit, dress clothes, etc. then go to Alexander’s. You will not regret it. Hadi will provide you with to most wonderful, fun experience and ensure that you leave a suit that fits you perfectly in addition to a smile in your face. Alexander’s offers an experience that a chain store simply cannot, if you want the best clothing and customer service there is nowhere that can compete with Alexander’s and Hadi will take...

I purchased a suit and a pair of shoes from this place for a wedding. Drove an hour from Columbia too. I allowed Hadi to perform the tailoring, which was a mistake. The trousers were way to long and the jacket still needed to be taken in. The additional tailoring cost me over $100.

Back to the shoes...when I purchased the shoes, I was told they had to be ordered. They were Cole Haan, a subsidiary of Nike, so shouldnt take long to come in. A month goes by still no shoes. I call Hadi, who explains they are on back order. Which seems far fetched, but I give him the benefit of doubt and remain patient. He tells me he will call me next week when the shoes come in.

Fast forward another month...still no call from Hadi. I drive an hour back to Hartsville to get my shoes or get some answers. When I arrived I was expecting to receive my shoes and a check for the difference (he over charged me by $100+ for the shoes which he agreed to refund me). To no surprise upon my arrival, the shoes had not arrived. There is no way it takes Cole Haan two months to fulfill an order for a single pair of shoes. Something was definitely shady about the transaction and my entire experience.

I am currently working on a full refund at this point, but overall I would not recommend this store to anyone. While the store has some exceptional clothes, I will never be doing business with this man again and I will be urging others to do the same.

UPDATE: 2 WEEKS LATER AND I FINALLY GET MY “REFUND” AND IT’S $50 LESS THAN WHAT I ORIGINALLY PAID....
