Average massage with limited amenities though friendly service

Pros:

The view: if you opt for the sunset massage outdoors the view/ ambience can’t be beat

Friendly service: Front desk staff was friendly and discounted our massage due to a mistake on their end

Cons:

Organization: We were informed after our massage that ours had been cancelled and they had fit us in last minute. Nobody confirmed what we wanted before the massage which led to us not getting the scalp treatment we had asked for. The front desk explained this was likely due to the use of a new scheduling system. They did however discount the massage to account for this.

The actual massage: While it wasn’t bad it wasn’t amazing- however I did have high expectations given it was a expensive massage at a expensive property

Amenities: The sauna was out of service and the salt room was underwhelming and felt gimmicky. There are no hot tubs etc. ( though We knew...

I want to say the whole experience from start to finish REALLY SET THE BAR for any massage I get after HO OLA NEED TO MEASURE UP !! If that says anything!

I’m here at the OUTRIGGER RESORT AND SPA from oregon.. Decided to get a “Glow” service I received from Barbara, a Hawaiian native, and has the cutest disposition with very professional bedside manner. LOVED IT!

In addition to the “Glow” service, I got an upgrade to in CC life an hour deep t “Deep tissue massage” with a 20 year veteran to the massage industry…..(pause)…..

Side note: have experienced my fair share of massages…

This guy literally does set the bar to whomever I get a massage from in the future!!! He knows his S#%¥

Not to mention Katlynn (receptionist) super accommodating and helpful . Bubbly… love it.

Very friendly staff, great location and well priced! I treated five of us ladies to a beachside massage the day before my wedding and everyone loved it! The outdoor lanai can only hold up to 3 massage tables so we had to split our group to 2 back-to-back sessions. They have a little waiting area in the spa or you may walk around the resort or even lounge by the pool. There happened to be a farmer's market near the entrance of the resort so some of us went to check that out while we were waiting for the other half to finish their service.
