Convenient location right by the beach. Max was the surfing instructor for our 3 girls and he was very down to earth, easy to talk to, and offered other ideas for us to check out around the island. Good amount of time was spent getting the girls ready for the lesson and he got each of our girls catching some waves in no time. Watching from the shore, we could see he kept our girls and another young surfer together, got them going, and even gave them a little “boost” if they weren’t moving fast enough to catch the wave. My son took a lesson today from Christian and he was able to stand up and catch a wave after only one lesson. Christian led a very small group of 4 people. Everyone in the group was able to catch a wave. Christian is very talented, he's easy to understand and gives demonstrations followed by having the class repeat his instructions. The location is amazing. I saw 2 green sea turtles and a ton of tropical fish including parrot fish, clown fish and many others whose names I don't know. Be careful here, there's sea urchins. Aria and Chad were outstanding surf instructors, even on an extremely crowded day. They created a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment in which my daughter and I progressed from complete beginners to standing and riding a wave in just one session.
