Not bad, nothing was so terrible we wanted to walk out. I can see how people are frustrated with the customer service, very little care to engage or make it right. Nothing made me say, "I'd come back for this." Which is sad because there are few restaurants in the area and I'd rather drive further for a Mexican craving next time. Chicken is not white meat, which is a deal breaker for me, but I'm picky when it comes to meat. We ordered something and they misheard us and then instead of saying, oh sorry, let us get you what you ordered, they made us order and pay for the thing we wanted. We said what we wanted multiple times, but they still got it wrong. Also, don't bother to tip as they don't actually do anything, never leaving behind the counter. You order at the counter and you have to get up and get your order and anything else you want like extra salsa or napkins. They don't have guacamole, which is disappointing being that they sell amazing avocado on the island. Wonderful opportunity for improvement and be a go to...

Los Habaneros stands as a testament to the simple joy of good Mexican food and warm hospitality. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience that begins with the vibrant flavors of their enchiladas and fajitas, which are nothing short of a fiesta on a plate. The spices sing, the textures dance, and each bite is a reminder of why you came back for more.

But what truly sets Los Habaneros apart is the atmosphere. It's unassuming yet cozy, making you feel right at home the moment you step in. The staff, with their remarkable memory for names and knack for friendly chatter, adds a personal touch that turns a meal into a memorable encounter.

Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, Los Habaneros treats you like family, serving up not just food, but also joy and connection. It's a place where every visit is a celebration of flavors and friendships, old and new. So, if you're in the mood for Mexican cuisine served with a side of heartwarming service, Los Habaneros is...

My boyfriend ordered dinner here with our outta town guess while i was at work. He got the beef tacos. When he received his food it was full of fat...he asked the counter person if they could do something about his meal and they pointed at the trash can and said he could throw it in the rubbish. Really? I was mad just hearing about it and wish i would have been there. I work at a restaurant and that is the rudest reply i have ever heard. I will never eat here and its sad because its close to our house and we really like mexican! Please talk to ur employees about customer service and respectful ways to fix a situation so guest will be happy and want to return. Food isnt always perfect but its not hard to offer the guest something else. What a waste of $$ for my boyfriend and he didnt get to eat either. :( very unprofessional and im...

My wife and I went on a Friday night before our movie. It was a redemption attempt after a 5 year boycott. I agree with the general consensus of the critical reviews: the food (and especially the beans) is bland overall. If you use the salsa the flavor is good, but it's like they are afraid of salt. The service is "meh." The order taker was friendly enough, but the expeditor (who give out the orders) was not friendly at all. They weren't rude to me, but I did observe them give major attitude to another customer for seemingly no reason. They were very busy. The trash was overflowing, but the tables, chairs, walls, ceilings, and what I could see of the food prep area were actually quite clean.

When you walk in, you order your food immediately. Sort of like a fast food place. You pay there and you get seated. I got my food in about 12 minutes. I got the chicken chimichanga ($10.99), the chicken quesadilla ($9.50), the daily special ($10.50), and the flan ($3.99). The daily special had a deep fried crust and had nothing but chicken inside. I believe the chicken could use a lot more seasoning as it was bland. The chicken chimichanga was really tasty. It was loaded with chicken, brown rice, beans and cheese. The chicken quesadilla was good. I felt it was a bit oily. It had a good amount of chicken and cheese. The flan was incredibly tasty. 10/10 would get the flan again.
