Joining Metroflex Gym Long Beach has been one of the best decisions I ever made in my life! I know that sounds like an exaggerated infomercial claim but is the absolute truth: When I joined I was twice my size and suffering from chronic pain. About once a month (give or take) KO Promotions puts on a amatuer mixed martial arts event here. There's about 10 to 12 fights so you get a lot of bang for your buck. They even serve food here during the events (street tacos and burritos). The competition is fierce as the amateurs have a lot to prove. Plus occasionally, you can meet professional fighters here like AJ McKee, Kevin "Baby Slice" Ferguson Jr., Gabriel Green and more.
