Love this place and I've had a lot of sushi. My mom, who doesn't even like sushi, enjoyed this place. We ordered the las vegas roll, a bento box with beef, and another roll (rainbow I think?). The bento box was disappointing (I just wasn't digging the flavor), but it very generously came with a ton of side dishes, sashimi, rice, beef, and tempura veggies. We all got some miso soup as well (it comes with the meal--yum). The sushi was to die for. Crispy and delicious, and very fresh. I was tempted to order more, but was simply too full. The only downfall is their lack of happy hour but that really is it. If you're here for sushi, you've made the right choice. Japanese Korean cuisine serving the best sashimi this side of town. Our family has been coming here for decades, even after ownership change. They were smart to keep the same vendors and sushi chefs. Food quality is consistently 5 star. Closes for employees’ break from about 3 to 4 pm, then reopens for dinner service. Beat value for sashimi is the sashimi special from mini to large . A good variety of sashimi, served with many side dishes that will satisfy even the largest appetites. Includes steamed egg, icy cold seafood salad, tempura, grilled fish (at least a small fillet usually salmon), choice of soju or another roll (chef’s choice), cheesy corn and a hot pot of soybean paste stew( contains fish) plus rice! Starts with a small espresso sized cup of abalone porridge. Outstanding uni bowls, chirashi (chopped raw fish salad), live flounder sashimi specials. Came here last year with coworkers when I was visiting town. The service was mediocre but the food was decent so I decided to visit again for the crave of Korean style fresh sashimi alone this time. From the moment of ordering, it wasn’t friendly at all and they didn’t mention anything about the food being a lot. (Ordered sashimi combo/course “mini” for $95) As I proceed with the meal, I started noticing that the server was skipping some dishes. I had to ask for those dishes and every time they asked if I want it. For example, they skipped the tempura, grilled fish, corn cheese and almost the spicy soup at the end. They noticeably asked other tables whether they want the soup because the kitchen is closing soon except me. So I waited till she comes by. Not to mention that she hardly came by or anything. I had to call her and asked if there will be soup coming out at the end. Then she had an audacity to ask me “oh, you want the soup too?” Jesus. I cannot believe this kind of service. Also she never checked on me and I had to ask for water. And yes, you guessed it. She was sooooo fast to come and get the check in and out even before I started to gathering myself lol It was a lot of food but they didn’t even bother to ask if I want smaller size or even want to skip. They just decided to try to fool me. There are plenty of other Korean sashimi places. Please save your dime for this disrespectful and dishonest business.

$100이 가까이 하는 식사를 하면서 이렇게 격떨어지는 대우를 받기는 오랜만입니다. 작년 로컬 직장 동료들과 갔을때 직원들 서비스는 별로여도 식사가 꽤 괜찮은 편이어서 이번에 혼자 사시미 콤보 미니를 출장겸 온김에 먹으러 다른 동네에서 멀리 운전해서 갔는데.. 혼자 와서 그런지 일부로 스끼다시를 빼시더군요. 그럴꺼면 왜 콤보에 설명을 그렇게 써놓으셨는지.. 왜 제가 제 돈주고 먹는데 일일이 다 달라고 따로 물어봐야 하나요? 불쾌하네요. 많이 기대하고 갔는데 실망했습니다. 차라리 이러이러한 스끼다시가 나와 혼자 먹기는 양이 많은데 몇가지는 미리 뺄지 물어 보셨다던지, 아니면 각 코스 요리를 작은 양으로 대체할 대안을 주셨다면 더 나았을 것 같네요. 모든 튀김은 안나온거 일부로 달라고 했더니 오래된거 재튀긴맛 너무 티나던데.. 중간중간 필요한 것은 없는지 체크도 안하고 음식만 던져주고 가고.. 물도 채워달라고 일부러 빈컵 내놔도 안채워주고. 서비스차원에서 많이 고려를...
