The Glen Bar Hawaiian Gardens — Restaurant in Hawaiian Gardens

There was not a lot of people, which is understandable because it’s a fairly new spot. I wanna know what day the other people rating went, because when I went it was pretty empty. The music was pretty good and a mix of a couple genres. But the key to a bar is the bartender and drinks. The only reason you go to a bar is to drink… so it made me wonder if it has to do with why the bar was pretty empty. I’ll have to try the drinks the more senior bartender does. I tried ordering from the other bartender; however because we had an open tab… we were directed to the bartender we originally go. They don’t have a drink menu or prices anywhere; which made us a little nervous when we got our tab. The drinks are reasonably priced, however, the drinks sucked. They did say they have a full bar. Don’t get me wrong they are super nice and attentive. But the drinks are bad. :( the restrooms were clean and smelled nice (wall plug). There is a pool table (not sure of the cost-didn’t use it or asked). Oh and they scan your ID upon entrance, but they fail to tell you that they are getting all your information and how they are going to use it (which I believe they have to to tell you so you concede)… felt borderline illegal… so they don’t just check your age. Music was SO loud couldn't hear a word. There was only 10-15 people in bar. Maybe they keep it loud so the bartenders don't have to talk to customers ? Lol who knows. Only one other person at the bar and we were not acknowledged after walking in and sitting down and waiting awhile. Had to ask the bartender if she was still serving. No hello. No thank you. First night opened and had an awesome time! Great atmosphere, great bartenders and the music was great! The dance floor here has enough room for everyone to dance, a pool table, many tables and seats to actually sit. Love the new Glen! So if you want to dance and have a great time come visit the new Glen in Hawaiian Gardens. I for sure will...
