I recently had the pleasure of visiting Studio B Salon - Lauren Dawson (hair stylist) after not seeing one for over 2 years due to being a new mom constantly on the move. I must say, the experience was absolutely fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

From the moment I walked into the salon, everyone made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Lauren took the time to listen attentively as I explained my hair concerns, desires, and the fact that I hadn't had a professional haircut in quite some time. Despite my lack of direction, she was able to grasp exactly what I wanted and assured me that she would take care of it.

Throughout the process, Lauren was incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. She asked questions to clarify any details and made suggestions based on her expertise, all while making sure to respect my preferences. Her attention to detail and precision were evident in the way she handled every strand of hair, ensuring that I would walk out of the salon feeling like a brand new person.

What truly impressed me was her ability to adapt to my lifestyle as a new mom always on the move. She understood the need for a low-maintenance style that would still look great even on my busiest days. She took into consideration the fact that I wouldn't have much time to spend on styling my hair and recommended a cut that would require minimal effort to maintain.

The end result exceeded my expectations. I left the salon feeling rejuvenated, confident, and ready to take on the world as a stylish new mom. Lauren not only knew exactly what I wanted, but she also provided valuable advice on how to keep my hair looking its best between appointments.

I first got to know the owner, Brooke, when she enlisted me to provide some of my services for her staff. It was immediately clear that she’s a thoughtful and caring business owner who genuinely loves and invests in her team. So, when my long-time stylist left the area, I knew I had to try out Studio B—and I’m so glad I did!

Sam and Taylor were amazing! They were attentive, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease during my first visit, which included both color and a cut. While the initial color turned out a bit darker than I had envisioned (no fault of Sam’s—I had wanted to experiment with a darker shade), I gave them a call, and Sam fit me in the very next day for a color correction. She handled everything with care and even provided the correction at no charge, which I greatly appreciated.

After discussing my concerns about thinning hair due to perimenopause, Sam suggested trying extensions. I had tried extensions in the past, but the previous style and brand hadn’t worked well with my hair. Sam assured me their product was different and helped me select the perfect color. Two weeks later, I returned to have them installed—and to my surprise, they even ordered in lunch for me at no charge! The entire experience was incredible, and I absolutely fell in love with my new hair. The extensions look so natural that I constantly get compliments, with people thinking it’s my own hair!

Justin is an extremely talented hairstylist and an absolutely amazing human being. I followed him to Studio B from his last salon because he’s just that good—he knows hair inside and out, stays up to date on new styles and products, and genuinely cares about his clients. He works so hard to make sure every time I leave his chair I am feeling happy and confident with my curls. Justin has also always been so patient with my teenager, who has anxiety, and today, I brought my elderly mom in to him for a much needed haircut. My mom rarely smiles, but after Justin worked his magic on her hair, she couldn’t stop! Her hair looked fantastic!! What really stood out though was how he treated her. Too often, people talk to me instead of her, which can be frustrating and disheartening for her. Justin spoke directly to her, joked with her, made sure she felt comfortable, and even adjusted how he spoke so she could understand him better since she’s very hard of hearing.
