This place is absolutely amazing! The honesty at this place is beyond refreshing. The guys behind the counter were total pros. We have two keypad locks on our doors (front and back) and they give you one key per pad. We have used the keypads for years and are listing our house for sale and after searching high and low, the keys are gone. I checked out yelp this am and read the reviews for this place and, although I live at 13/Campbell in RO, I rolled the dice and drove to Hazel Park. Best.decision.in.ages!

I took off the entire unit and for $7.50, he was able to make new keys/re-do tumbler, with 3 keys, I walked out the door for $11.12. I went home, re-installed the first unit and took the second back, where he re-did it so the same keys work on both entries $9 out the door. They could have told me I had to replace the cores (which is what I was expecting) and I would have done it. Honesty. I love it.

I lost my original, then my spare motorcycle key. I searched around and many lock and key businesses throughout a wide area stated they weren't able to make keys for a motorcycle that did not have the original key. I was referred to Big D's in Hazel Park. They made my key and spares from scratch and got me in and out, up and running in a few hours. These guy's have always been very professional and courteous.And they have very great prices too. I'm just super thrilled! They came out 10am on a Saturday to help me get my garage door open. And YES! Totally got it open. They even showed me,what I did to prevent me from being able to open my door. I didn't put enough tension on the handle for the cable.
