They have some really good deals. There are some items that are priced higher than a regular store. Some items are used, so beware. My grandmother bought some cold cream and when she opened it, there was maybe only 1/4 of the product left. While it was only $7, I don't think anyone wants to put already used product on their face. Not knowing whose fingers have been in it, makes the low price not worth the risk. She just ended up tossing it. They do allow for returns tho. I bought a black & Decker dust buster and when I got it home, it was full of dirt and hair and the charger cord was severed but wired back together, with the wires left exposed. I returned it and exchanged it for a large thing of paper towel. While I was disappointed the dust buster was a bust, I was very happy with the amount and quality of the paper towel. The owners seem very nice. They are always very helpful and they keep the store clean and organized. I really have no complaints with the store or the staff. The only real issue I have is that they were playing a prayer or something, VERY LOUDLY!!!! It came on out of nowhere and about jolted me out of my skin. I had to exit, because it was very high pitched and unbearably loud. Usually the music or whatever is playing on the store speaker system is quiet and isn't disturbing at all so, when it came on at such a high volume, so abruptly, it was extremely startling! There were other customers in the store and they exited as well, complaining of the volume. I don't have an issue with whatever it was playing, I just have an issue with its volume. Everyone has different religious beliefs and I have a sincere respect for everyone's right to choose what they think is right. With that said, I don't think it's right or respectful to force patrons or the surrounding neighbors to listen to religious... or any other type of music so loudly, as ones religious beliefs are a personal thing. If it were being played at a quiet, reasonable volume, it wouldn't have been an issue and I would have continued shopping. I think it's great they're offering items at great prices for the residents of our city. Times are tough and every chance to...
Read moreYou can find a lot of stuff here. It’s basically products that have been returned to places like Amazon and target. I saw a waterpik for $20 but when I looked in the box it didn’t come with any attatchments. I’d probably make sure whatever you’re buying looks like it’s sealed from the manufacturer. Then I asked the man running it where they got their stuff because when I was in the beauty section they had okay regenerist for $7 which is normally $35. Well it’s used. Like not sealed and not filled to the top. I found an Amina soul food mask that retails for $38 and it was marked $7. Also no seal and literally half used. I found lots of Byoma skin care which comes with a plastic sticker that breaks when you twist the top. Therabreath with no seal. None of the beauty stuff had seals from manufacturing. I asked him if these products were used and he said no they squire them because of packaging damage but they were definitely used. Some great deals but be weary of what you buy. Make sure it works and make sure it’s not half used. I feel they were dishonest when I asked
EDIT: Like I said, you can get some good deals, but parts missing and seals missing from hygiene products is something to look out for. And a half used amika...
