I now understand why numerous Providence hospitals have closed due to a lack of empathy and understanding. I require a specific medication to effectively manage my disability, and there are limited suitable options. However, one particular facility insisted on a minimum 6-month commitment with excessively high doses, rendering it impossible to leave. I was banned from their facilities after using them as a bridge while awaiting acceptance into an inpatient care facility. Two doctors have prescribed me this medication, which has been highly effective and beneficial in managing my condition. Unfortunately, Michael Maruska, DO, misled me, along with his nurse. Ongoing investigations are being conducted into certain facilities due to their failure to provide services for individuals who do not wish to remain in their care long-term. That is why I visit the ER there and also for personal reasons. Two other doctors within the same hospital successfully prescribed me this medication, resulting in significant improvement in my condition. It appears that Dr. Maruska is not genuinely invested in helping patients, as evidenced by his failure to acknowledge that his own colleagues had previously prescribed me this medication. Doctors like this pose significant challenges for individuals seeking to recover. Read moreI have been to this emergency room multiple times and i do agree with the review below they do act like they don't care sometimes but i really think its a hit and miss and depending on time / which doctor you get really makes the difference i went into the er twice in one week for a very bad ear infection 1s t doctor acted like it was nothing and barely did ANYTHING to help me plus gave me antibiotics that i didn't even need ended up back here IN EVEN MORE PAIN this time during night time and the second doctor was THE BEST he actually tried to help me and correctly diagnosed what was wrong with my ear and i needed ear drops not ORAL MEDS so i guess from now on i will wait in pain and go at night time because the staff in the later hours is way better in my honest onion ( and my 4 star rating is because i have had some very nice nurses / doctors like i said...
Read moreI went in for a contusion of the foot and was not offered a single pain med. granted I said my pain was 7 when I walk but after the movement of the x rays and putting in the put I was quietly literally crying. It all honestly it seemed like no one cared and they wanted me out as soon as possible, when I did too. But the entire vibe, because the the women during the X-ray and th woman providing my book genuinely feel like the couldn’t care less. There one specific doctor that look like a colon, he’s rude curt and believes that everyone is just Pestering for him for his time. Down disgusting...
