I had the worst experience today with Dr. Lazzareschi. His lack of empathy for something so traumatic has left me on leave of absence. I'm putting safeguards in place, which have worked because I don't require long-term treatment. I was under-medicated. David, his RN, made it seem like he couldn't see previous orders, basically lying, Dr. Nathan Tiesmann is seriously amazing completely different person so if you go make sure Tiesmann is there besides he is younger and sharper. Now, I quote this from DHCS: supply 3 days of medication. I understand that here in the USA, people are just lucky to go to school and continue. However, I did come from Mexico after my entire family was almost killed. I have a bullet wound to my arm and chest, and my sister has fragments in her right eye. And these were not isolated events. I have picked up the pieces and pulled myself together. I can only imagine what someone who, as a nurse and doctor with zero empathy, makes things harder and delays patient care. I also work for way bigger hospitals, and I have never seen such behavior. For obvious reasons, I don't go for treatment because I keep this part of myself private. Because, imagine, both of these educated medical professionals show that type of behavior; what would others do? And, in reality, wealth-wise, I am doing far better than even most doctors. From my understanding, an ER, especially such a small one, shouldn't be an issue. Dr. Lazzarechi mentioned something that I took as people with my disorder are not welcome. Because he said that means people will start coming here, etc. Oh, and when they do a UA, there's no label with the time, just leave it in the bathroom without a name. This is malpractice and dangerous from someone behaving so short and arrogant. One thing I do have is that I quickly heal, and I am young; hopefully, one day the tables...
Read moreI was visiting the area and was in need of emergency medical treatment. Dr. Nathan Teismann, MD was extremely efficient and professional to do a thorough diagnosis before proceeding with a treatment plan. I felt fortunate to be under his care. He had a kind bedside manner.
Nurse Patrick was also wonderful to treat me with so much kindness, consideration, and respect during a painful procedure. He was a true Hero! The phlebotomist and radiologist for my CT scan were also very kind and caring as I was in extreme pain. I’m sorry I don’t remember their names.
The only unfortunate negative was when we first entered the ER waiting room. I told the receptionist I needed to lay down while I waited as I was in extreme pain. She said I could not. If I needed to lay down I could go outside on a bench. What???? It was already 90 degrees outside! So I laid on the floor. I know that sounds gross but I really had no options other than pass out! Next thing I know security showed up. Fortunately he was at least much more sympathetic and understanding than the receptionist and helped me to lay on my side with a variety of chairs.
Thank goodness I did not have to wait long. I was actually seen...
