Penn State Health Robesonia Outpatient Center — Local services in Heidelberg Township

I have been a patient for years, I was always please with my care until now. Excruciating pain since Tuesday morning. I was told to call the urologist, they couldn’t get me in until late April, called them back as they told me to. No return call. I went to the ER to be told that there wasn’t a blockage but could not tell me what was causing the pain. It wasn’t emergent so he couldn’t help me, gave be ibuprofen and sent me on my way. Dr Mandel finally had someone call me the day after. I explained that I had gone to the ER. I was told that he would review the chart. Once again no call back. This morning I left a message and finally they called. They can’t see me until Monday, I should go to a different ER for a second opinion. I have a $500 copay so that isn’t an option. Nobody there seems to care that I have been in excruciating pain for 4 days. Apparently you only get decent treatment on occasion. I have been a St Joes patient for years. Not any...

My son is five now and for years he has been experiencing strange ailments, fevers headaches body aches etc, his pediatrician never did testing he diagnosed him with hand foot and mouth six times in two months, final straw and I changed my Dr and his to here, we were blessed to get Dr. Gable she is an amazing and caring doctor she is the one on his first visit suspected an auto immune disorder and steered me to infectious disease where we found out he had exactly what she thought years of crying and begging to find what's wrong with my son were solved in a visit, she is so smart and listens to what you are concerned about, I wish I would've found this place earlier!! The whole staff and all the Drs and pas are amazing I highly recommend...

My whole experience at the PSHSJ Robesonia office was great from the office staff to Dr. Gable everyone was welcoming, friendly and very helpful! I have and will continue to refer Dr. Gable to anyone who needs a Primary Care Physician. During my first wellness visit she took the time to get to know me personally and not only answer but truly listen to all my health concerns.
