I Smoke Smoke Shop — Local services in Hemet

Absolutely unacceptable experience at this smoke shop. I attempted to make a purchase and initially handed the cashier cash, only to realize I was about a dollar short. I returned to my car to grab my phone and offered to pay the remaining balance digitally—only for the cashier to claim I never gave him any money at all.

This was a blatant lie.

Despite my insistence, he continued to deny receiving the cash until I demanded the surveillance footage be reviewed. After a long and unnecessary argument, the footage clearly showed that I had handed him money—just as I said. Even then, the cashier continued to deny it, showing zero accountability and even less professionalism.

Whether it was an attempt to steal or just gross incompetence, the fact that I had to fight to prove the truth in front of video evidence is beyond ridiculous. This is not how you treat paying customers, and it's certainly not how you build trust or a reputation in a small town.

Be cautious doing business here. I won't be returning—and I suggest you think twice...

If I could rate this smoke shop negative, I definitely would. I used to actually enjoy coming to this smoke shop with my wife until today. My wife and I came to pick up a few juices and coils and upon walking in we go up to the counter and the owner walks out and immediately says to my wife "why do you always come in here to buy things when you always complain." We literally had not said a word upon walking in except to the guy that originally greeted us. The owner is still sour about a review my wife placed on Google 3 years ago. Always stop in on my way home up to Mt. Idyllwild. Huge selection for anyones needs from cigars to vapes, posters and hooka products. Incense and oils. Glass products and plastic containers. Always friendly and knowledgable staff, the owner is frequently present, hands on, showing his pride in his store. Prices are reasonable on large basic needs inventory.
