Normally a great store. Today was a big problem though. Having to rebag 8 NEW bags (not the usual fumbling this time that there is with used bags) because the teenage boy Fernando couldnt figure it out. If he isnt a teenager, then he should act like an adult worthy of a job. (Edit once home: Perfectly good bananas, now bruised to hell-- even though I rebagged at the car š !!). Raw meat with crushable non-meat items, bananas with bbq sauce, watermelon with salad (container, not bag=(edit: crushable/damaged container & spilled veggies)), strawberries/blueberries thrown sideways in with yogurt & sour cream. Why split up the dairy packages into two bags & split the fruit into the same two bags, as well? Dont bag curshable fruit containers & heavy dairy packages together. Especially if they cannot sit stable on top. Very simple. Unnecessary nonsense. And really?? Soda on top of everything at the end because he wasnt paying attention and shoved them aside, when they were FIRST on the belt for a reason?? Then bags them last? Silly. I was right there to be asked if I wanted them bagged. I said yes, why wait until the end??Heavy items should be first and on bottom-- not shoved to the side. Pay attention. If I hadnt started moving things, God knows where he would have put my eggs, which were last on the belt and nowhere safe to be put. You'd think that the way items were arranged on the belt would have been a hint, but apparently not. All my like-items were together and heaviest items first. I wasnt complaining about the number of bags, so its not as if he was having to cram items into bursting bags. RETRAIN BAGGER FERNANDO. He was too busy complaining over and over about his clock-in time and announcing 4:56, 4:56, to pay attention to his job. Usually Staters is so good at bagging, but not today and I didnt fully realize how my fruits were being damaged until I was at my truck rebagging, and too tired to go back in, as I am a permanently disabled veteran and have a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the only market that Hemet and San Jacinto have well not this market ahhaha that would be ludicrous I mean the company with the minor exception of a winco and off beat markets I swear there are stater bros everywhere each with it's own personal style. Life is different in Hemet then the high desert. It's definitely not the stater bros you grew up with. The produce is awful this is the only stater bros I've ever been in that has bargain looking produce. Stater bros is known for two things their meat and their fresh produce. This particular store failed on carrying on tradition farm fresh they aren't achieving have to say was very disappointed to see the produce selection and I felt let down by their display of vegetables and fruit. I have never seen such low standards in any stater bros in any other city or town. Get it together stater employees you need a better person to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt is a very clean store and very busy store. I really like the morning manager, Steve he is awsome, friendly and goes above and beyond for customers.I wish there were more people with your warm outgoing personality and your professionalism. Thank you for taking the time to stop what you are doing and to listen to my plight. Oh! Just a little thing i need to share, please talk with the cashiers and clerks not to be gossiping about other employees when they are assisting a customer, It is inappropriate and bad work ethics. Besides they should be talking to the customer, not having the customer listening to all the negative gossip. So to my cashiers and clerks, remember there is always someone in ear shot so be postive and talk about positive things.you never know when you could have a secrete shopper in your presence. So smile and. and be positive.
Sincerely Your...
