Mr. You Express Chinese Food — Restaurant in Hemet

This place has decent food.But the staff are not very fluent in English. I asked if I could order a small fried rice, so the guy instead of answering just began to shovel in a bunch into a container, I again asked if a small size is available, he looked puzzled so I said small , and he immediately handed it off to a guy in the back the girl then says to me 18. Dollars and some change I said to her all I want is a small serving of rice, she then proceeds to tell me there is no small and I was getting shrimp fried rice which is 10.99. I said, "That's not what I wanted. Confused, she began some spiel, and I barely understood. Begrudgingly,I paid. I'm not sure why I felt pressured to pay for something I didn't order, but I did. We ordered from this location very often and I'm reluctant giving a review on local business. The noodles to me never taste like lo mein that I was used to from San Diego. It was almost like they are using spaghetti noodles to make it. It's edible so I never wrote a review.

However, the food we ordered on 03/09/2024, 3 combos, two of them has a long strand of hair mixed with the lo mein noodles.

Mr. You, even if your food aren't among the best Chinese food I've eaten, it's convenient for me and family when we don't have time to cook. ordered food at 4:40pm over phone on 11/30 was told 10-15 minutes. I didn’t receive and pay for my food until 5:15pm. My food wasn’t even boxed when i arrived. The employee continued to take everyone’s order about 5-6 people after I told her i was there to pick up my phone order. Then once no one was in line she started making my order. What was the point of placing a phone order? i expected it to be ready for pickup and the fact that it was 30 minutes later when it STARTED getting put together is ridiculous!!
