Pineapple Collectibles — Local services in Henderson

Excellent little shop, only a few months old here, and family owned. Did not really have high hopes when I was looking to sell a few cards while visiting family in Henderson NV, honestly I figured in the store would be similar to online bulk offers I have gotten, where I separate all $4-5+ up to $75-80 cards based on TCGPlayer.com, altogether I was offered by a guy online $60 for like $375 market value based on conditions etc. This is what I figured To expect from a shop experience, but I was totally wrong. Cases inside had great slabbed cards for sale, and I love the layout. Tables when you enter that you can play on if you are interested, left wall is all different box sets of Pokémon, while to the right in the glass display area are the slabs and other single cards for sale. Behind that at the right wall are boxes of Pokémon cards and lots of individual packs of all different sets. Then there is a countertop towards the back that has the register and computer/laptop/tablet. I brought out my cards, all pack fresh and top loaded, but no slabs. I had called ahead and asked if they were buying to which she replied that they would surely look at what I have. I wanted to get between $50-100 to play (lose at) some slots, and I expected either 50% of market value store credit or 30% market value value in cash like the online offer I received. Again I was wrong, and happy to be so! She went over my cards and chose about 5-7 cards. Tetrapagos $75 mv(market value) , A Charizard $65mv, a Houndoom $24mv, Zapdos mod played 5$mv ($14mv normally), Charmander JP full art $7mv, and a couple Pikachu cards that together were like $8-9mv. For those cards she offered 70% of market value in cash or 80% in trade, maybe 75% mixed, butI expected to trade away many more cards for less than the $125 cash that I walked out with. This review is very long winded I know, but when a new business opens up and treats people fairly that come to buy and/or sell, they deserve a long review full of praise! 5 stars in basically every category here, I cannot associate this shop to my loss on slots of $95 of those dollars in about 10-15minutes, that is a different review and I only blame myself there lol. I can't recommend Pineapple Collectables enough. I've been coming since I discovered them and it's hands down the best local card shop in Vegas/Henderson. They specialize in Pokémon collectibles and are a breath of fresh air for any experienced or new collector.

The owner, Dawn is incredibly knowledgeable, actually available, super easy going and it's obvious she genuinely cares about her customers. The entire staff is just as fantastic and easy to work with. No shady vibes, no scam artists, it's a great place for kids and adults. They are fun and welcoming and always ready to help, making every interaction smooth and pleasant.

They are also super reasonable and fair with their pricing. It's refreshing to find a collectibles business that's so transparent and trustworthy. They even handle PSA grading of cards, which is a huge convenience for collectors. Very cool shop. Saw the name for a while but it didn't register to me that it was actually a card shop. They specialize in Pokemon and have everything related to Pokemon you could ask for. Competitive value for all products which is important to me as I cross shops off my list if they are charging above market, this shop is fair.

When you walk in you are met with a glass display of some cool retro Pokemon items that take you back. Then they have boxes available for view out in the open along with behind the display counters. They will buy and trade cards. They also offer a grading service where they will submit your orders for a fee.

Now it seems to be about 98% Pokemon with a few other TCG brands. Would definitely like to see the other brands expanded and maybe a little sports in the future. But for a Pokemon fan, this shop is a can't miss. Owner is fantastic and genuine. Definitely my go to...
