Besides the fact that it took two weeks to buy a car because the communication was so bad (buying from another state), once I got the car the check engine light came on in 12 hours, and driving it it is immediately noticeable that the brakes and rotors need to be replaced. So I just spent $40K for a car that needs $2k in brakes and rotors overall maintenance that should have been done. Not an honest company to work with. **response to the dealership reply** Yes, I understand the logistics for a distance purchase. However, 1 time there was a scheduled time for a phone call which I never received and then was ghosted for 3 days, another time I was told I would get a call to finalize details “this afternoon” and was once again ghosted. The process could have been drastically less than 2 weeks long. Circumstances are what they were and you can take responsibility for your employees part in the process being less than ideal. Please see attached photo from the diagnostic provided by Nissan dealership service center. It is required by your warranty (even though none of these issues fall under the warranty so I will still be out an extra $2k) to go to a Nissan dealership so that’s what I did. I will be having a second opinion, but not expect different results. Regardless, even if you did replace the brake pads the very obvious shaking is a rotor issue which you did not take care of. Yes, I did have the third party inspection as recommended by your team member and through the company they recommended. Do not displace, they have also heard from me as well and my displeasure at their business. If I were you, I would find another company to recommend for this moving forward. You did call on me on a holiday and during my work hours. As a mental health therapist, I will not answer calls while in session with Clients. You are welcome to email me so everything is in writing. Unless you are going to send me a check for the amount to replace the rotors and brakes, there is nothing further to discuss and my 1 star and review are appropriate.

Do NOT buy a used car from Boyd Chevrolet. 20 miles off the lot, transmission went out. Towed the vehicle back the same day. A few days later said they fixed the problem (said it was a loose hose when they replaced a line), and upon returning the vehicle they ran over barricades driving onto 30 min old, freshly poured concrete driveway. Noticed the vehicle was still dripping transmission fluid. Notified the dealership immediately. They came back, and later said it was old transmission fluid coming from the bumper and fender wells. The car went back to the dealership, and apparently was placed on a lift and pressure washed underneath, because i can see the pressure washer marks on the fender wells. Got the car back yet again and now the proximity sensors stopped working. The dealership is trying to say thats not their fault, but it was clearly working before the 3 trips to be fixed, now its not. I took photos right away with the mileage showing them it hasn't been drove except when they delivered it. They are trying to charge me $800 for a issue they caused. Yes its used, and has miles on it, but when I bought the car the GM and salesman talked highly of the car, and that the miles were not a issue. Now several people at Boyd have made remarks about it being high mileage. I've wasted time/money and missed out with my kids dealing with these clowns. I have yet to get a response from the GM. A email was sent today 9/22/25 with no response. I will continue to pursue this until the issue is resolved or I will go another route BBB, social media with the text, photos, and audio. Im being respectful and not posting names at this point. Ill give them until Wednesday 9/24/25 to resolve this issue. They truly dropped the ball on this one.

I've known Manny for most of my life and to keep it short, he is one of the best Salesmen around. He is willing to go out of his way to help his customer and is not afraid of a challenge. He seeks everyone's respect and is patient to the core. From my point of view, I was a good test for Manny because I wanted a truck, but I was uncertain and anxious about spending my money and going into debt. So, for a couple of weeks we talked it out, and I shared my worries and other facts that I have obtained. In the end, Manny was respectable and forth coming with information that I didn't know. If you want to buy a new car, but are anxious or worried, like I was, then make a request to have Manny as your personal car salesman.

All of my experience with Boyd Chevrolet has been excellent both in sales and service. Cameron was very helpful in service keeping me posted and updated on progress with my car being fixed and Mark Brown has been extremely helpful in figuring out how to buy a new car. Boyd has been in business for like 100 years and their experience shows in there, professional manners and product knowledge I would highly recommend Boyd Chevrolet. 8/6/25 Update: Smoke and mirrors… I leased my new car on 7/16/25. We arrived at a down payment and monthly payment and I rushed to the bank before it closed and returned with a check made out to Boyd. In the closing room I was told that my lease included a free service that I would have to bring the car back in to get. I questioned “free” and was told repeatedly, yes it’s free. On Aug 5 I called GM Financial because my previous car was showing paid in full but the new car was not listed. I checked back with Mark at Boyd and there was a part of the lease that needed to be recalculated and signed. No problem, I’ll come over. During this process I mentioned the Free coating that I could have applied and talked about making an appointment. During that conversation I questioned Free again and was told no, it’s on your pink sheet itemized at 2548. I checked this pink sheet, separate from the lease contract, and yes there it was. I questioned this with Todd and he explained that he had changed the money factor to accommodate the Cilajet coating so my payment would remain the same as originally quoted. Subsequently I’ve made the appointment to get the coating applied today. Basically I don’t know if I’m being scammed or getting a great deal. I would have much preferred to be offered the additional package at $2548 (not Free) up front and given the opportunity to discuss whether or not I wanted it and how it would or would not impact my actual cost. As I stated in the first part of this review, everyone from sales to service, Eric and Stephanie have been helpful and polite. The car, Equinox EV RS is a great car as was the Bolt. I’ve switched from decades of leasing Hondas to being a Chevy Guy. The friendly, no high pressure sales atmosphere relaxed my guard, I just hope I didn’t fall asleep at the wheel and I really hope I can stay with Boyd as my trusted...

I live in Texas. I was searching for a work truck with specific features. I found this Chevy Colorado on the CARMax used car site. I called and talked to Laura describing what I was looking for and if the vehicle was still available. She advised me that the vehicle was still available and would connect me with a sales person. That person was Ashlee Check. Because I would be purchasing this truck almost sight unseen I was very inquisitive. Over a two day period I talked to Ashlee at least a dozen times. I was interested in the vehicle’s history, its performance rating, and the appearance. In the write up the interior was said to be black. Ashlee corrected the written description and confirmed that the interior was a light gray. Ashlee also researched some aftermarket equipment and its interface with the vehicle that the previous owner had installed. Ashlee also helped me with finance. She sent me the dealership’s routing and accounts so I could have my bank wire the “drive out” funds agreed upon to the dealership making the sale as smooth as possible. When I flew in to pick up the vehicle, Ashlee picked me up at the airport and we returned to the dealership. The vehicle was ready for delivery. I reviewed it and it was everything Ashlee had said. We went inside and I signed the appropriate documents then she took me to finance and introduce me to Lewis. He too was ready to complete the sale. Ashlee had everything coordinated with the various departments; maintenance, detailing, finance, etc. Ashlee had all the details covered. I currently own a 2022 Enclave. In 2025 or 2026 I most likely will trade it. Because of my dealings with Ashlee Check I would seriously consider coming back to Boyd when I do. All in all, because of Ashlee, my experience with the Boyd Dealership was not just a good experience, t was an enjoyable one. Ashlee was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and organized. It was a real pleasure working with her and the Boyd team.

Robert...
