Wonderful place to shop for clothes, furniture, and other items when on a tight budget!
While the inside is a tad run down it's kept up pretty well and there is always a good selection of items. It also has a wheelchair accessible ramp up to the store which is great for anyone who might otherwise be unable to go there.
The items there include clothes for under $10, sometimes even new. They also have excellent furniture as well as washers and dryers which were great if on a very tight budget. It is good to note not everything is cheaper at thrift stores as sometimes new can be the same price, however this is usually not the case.
On Thursday I believe there is 50% off of all items and I'm not sure about other days, but it tends to become very crowded during the half off day. There is a senior discount, though I can't recall what it is.
Overall it's a great place for clothes, furniture, kitchen items, and even has some great electronics if you know what your...
Read moreHorrible. Saved up years and years worth of my children's toys. Every kind of like-new toy imaginable (hundreds, three SUV's worth), games, dolls, doll houses, kitchen sets, desks, chairs, mirrors...literally if you have seen a toy sold my children had it and it was time for it to be donated. There is no organization to pick it up. The churches know of nobody that can use it, so as a last resort I would give it to this place that must make a huge profit on each and every item before they sell it. Upon arrival I was told I would have to wait for someone to help me/document something before removing it from my vehicle. Nope, not happening, I am donating several thousand dollars worth of toys, I am not spending $250 more dollars of my time so they can make a massive profit (Virtually 100% profit). Immediately threw it all in a dumpster and had to let the landfill...
Read moreI know "thrifting" has become the 'trendy' thing to do, so I can understand it not being quite as cheap as it used to be, but jeez, when a thrift store is selling a USED item for TWICE THE PRICE of a BRAND NEW item, there's a problem. As you can see in my pictures, they charged $1.99 for a used tin that you could've got brand new for $1.00 (at the time,) from the Dollar Tree. Thrift stores used to be a great place where people could go to buy used items for a fraction of the price as new. Now you're better off just going to yard sales. High prices aside, this place is pretty much exactly like every other thrift store you've ever gone to. Dirty, dingy, with that classic, you know what I'm talking about, 'thrift store smell' to it. Overall, this isn't my top pick for thrift stores, but it is still included in our rounds when I take my kids...
