Webb's Barbershop has been generational to me in a sense. My grandfather used to visit here frequently. It was his favorite spot, everyone made him feel welcomed, and my Mommom (very protective) felt safe having him here. My grandfather definitely had an eye for genuine people because I've never had one slightly negative interaction here, nor have I witnessed anything but positivity and fun conversation. Mind you, I'm a shy person, but with the shop being set up in such a comfy, warming, and homelike vibe, it's hard not to just relax. There's definitely a family-like energy at Webb's, and not for a second do you feel like a stranger. I was introduced to Diego as a recommendation to give the "best tapers around." Not only tapers, Iāve been through many different hairstyles, and so have my friends. I've been here for over two years now, and every cut has exceeded my expectations. When I saw my boys the next day, no convincing was needed; they all demanded his number. Roughly a year after that, Diego still cuts my hair and a handful of my friends' hair. We even have a saying, "If you need a blessing, see Diego!" If you're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, cares about your preferences, and a shop in general with great people who don't look at you with a "$" above your head, then you need to see Diego at Webb's Barber Shop on Warwick Road. Itās obvious when some people have a talent for what they do. Heās just one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI normally don't write bad reviews or any reviews at all but this time I feel like I've been driven to post something. I have never been to this barber shop but it was relatively close and got some pretty great reviews so I didn't think I could go wrong. Well I did. If I could give it a -5 I would. Should have never came here. I came in and asked for a skin fade and for them to square off my hairline. Normally this is a very straightforward cut. Nothing special, no designs just short. Everything even went well until she squared off the hairline in front. Embarrassment doesn't even come close to how I felt. Since their mirrors are too high up when sitting in the hair I couldn't see the damage until it was too late. If I could post a picture I would it was that bad. Hairline like a smiley face. Like she didn't know what she was doing. On top of that the manager almost laughed about it and the shop was filled with people. Anyone who got the blonde next I feel sorry for. She was very apologetic and they didn't charge me for the cut but I was literally mortified. I've had bad cuts before but his one takes cake.. Every cake imaginable. I literally had to go home and shave it off and even then you can see the terrible lines left in my head. It was a butcher job I cannot emphasize that enough. Please beware! This is not ok and this was no little...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time customer. I have to say I have never had a faster, more hassle free cut. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were pleasant without that "retail extremism" you get at the chains. No pie-eyed hyper-medicated stylists straight out of hair school. Just a handful of laid back professionals with a subdued hipster (in a good way) appeal. Pricing was right on par with local competition, the shop was clean and my barber was meticulous yet time efficient with a simple buzz-cut that turned out surprisingly tailored looking. Her name was Cory and I recommend her. After seeing the barber pole out front I thought it was going to be an old time-y shoppe with a bunch of old guys and such but instead it was a younger hipper fusion of classic barber and modern salon and it worked for me. If you are sick of Super Cuts but not old enough for the classic style shoppe...
