New Big Belly Deli & More! — Restaurant in Somerdale

We ordered from here for the first time the other night. We were really looking forward to trying this new place but it ended up not meeting our expectations. The food was fresh and edible but could have been better. We ordered a salad and sandwiches; the salad was decent- fresh greens but nothing extraordinary. The sandwiches weren’t that great. They weren’t very “big” considering the name of the deli, just basically a long roll with limited contents inside. I ordered a lunch meat sandwich and the cheese was that individually pre-packaged Kraft type cheese that you eat as a kid, I could taste that it wasn’t real American cheese instantly. My husband’s sandwich was a hot sandwich and the contents inside were very dry. Probably a good spot for the high school kids bc they sell snacks and stuff too but for a dinner time order-...

Not a big fan of their ordering system, they have pictures on the wall for aesthetic only; not properly representing what they actually provide.

They also dont seem to understand the customers' frustrations. Case & Point, they show a hoagie on the seeded roll, and when you ask if they have seeded rolls, their recommendation is to get a hamburger.

Unsurprisingly, they made shopping for snacks as frustrating as their ordering system. No prices. They recommend bringing items to the counter to check the price, a unique approach in this day and age to be sure. To be fair no one shops here so their isn't a wait at the counter, but it's an inconvenience nonetheless.

I'll be waiting for this spot to change ownership (again) before giving it another shot. Pitiful service and prices, but they do make it appear cleaner...

Been ordering hoagies for years from this store, When Royal Farms such great sandwiches and store items Now as BigBelly it's TERRIBLE! I always used 2 buy lunch meats, now ,NONE of them can even slice it!!. They bunch it up, it's just a pile of meat in a mess. Hogies used 2 b great, now they are 9.99 for a 6 inch hogie? I'll go too Wawa. When the owner was there he took better care of customers, now, I'm done, I used too buy 50 dollars in simple lunch meats but they can't cut it , breakfast sandwich has gone up 2 five dollars and it's half the meat and...
