Model Nails — Local services in Hialeah

I went on for a full set of acrylics, a man helped me out. Didn't have to wait which was a plus. As the man cuts my nails I noticed that he was cutting them as I would. I requested he let me re cut my nails. He started to place on the tips and I realized that he didn't clean my cuticles. I mentioned this to him and he stated that if I wanted the full set that wasn't included. I wore acrylics for 15 yrs and I use to get the full work for the price of the full set. I don't know if this changed over time. The owner (female Lyn?) Stated that she could remove the acrylics and I could go where they cut my cutticles. I was shocked, I'm looking to resolve my problem not add to it. I told her she was being sarcastic and she offer a quick solution. GO. Apparently they don't need my business. The lack of professionalism was incredible. I wonder if it it lacks of education or cultural. The man continue and did a great job. It is a petty this woman lacks tack and professional skills. Will I come back know to this place, Definitely No.Would I recommend it, no unless you don't care for being treated with manners . Too many places charge...

Today was my first time going there. I called that morning to make an appointment at 2PM and they were nice. The plaza is small and so is the salon. It was packed when I arrived but I was seated immediately with my technician. Her name was Virginia, super sweet older lady, very personable. I asked for a simple gel manicure.

My first issue with her is that she cut too much of sides leaving them sensitive to the touch. She said I had too cuticle, and then I already had a cut on my thumb but instead of avoiding the area, she decided to cut the cuticle making my cut bleed. And then she cut me again on my pinky finger. My third issue, and I might be picky on this one, but that’s my opinion, she didn’t paint all the way to the tip or around the nail. I think she would benefit with more training.

I was going to say something to management but honestly, after she took an hour doing a simple manicure, I just wanted to leave. My nails feel rough and sticky. All in all, I won’t be going back.

Horrible horrible service. The tech I requested was doing someone else’s nails on my time that I scheduled 4 days prior (which was bumped up an hour for an unknown reason). She wasn’t even the one who did my acrylic base and filing it was someone else. I told them that I’m very allergic to gel polish and can only use regular polish but the one color I needed they didn’t have. I sat with the tech I requested after being there and waiting for an hour and 20 minutes and she couldn’t do the design I asked for because they didn’t have the materials for it and she kept telling me it was only possible with gel polish. I left with incomplete nails because I wasn’t gonna deal with a horrible allergic reaction right before prom and paid just for the acrylic base and nothing else (it was $50 total). I cried from the frustration of it all and will never be coming back I wasted my time and gas. DO...
