I’ve been going to this restaurant for years, and I’ve enjoyed family meals here. Recently I made the mistake to return and we had my daughter’s service dog which is in training. We came in and after they sat us, it was obvious we had the dog with us, a waitress with a face came over and asked for the id card that identifies him as a service dog. I explained that he is in training that’s why he wears a vest that states he is in training. She explained that “the owner” required the card otherwise she could lose her job. I explained to her that in the state of Florida service dogs in training have the same rights, and that he is fully potty trained and non aggressive. She went on to say that it didn’t matter that we needed the card because again the owner required it otherwise she could lose her job. I told her it was illegal to do that in that state of Florida, and she said it was not true, she went on to tell me a story which I was not interested in. One of the conditions my daughter needs the dog for is anxiety, which unfortunately during that incident that waitress created a lot of anxiety for her, as we were escorted out of the restaurant after being sited which was completely embarrassing. If they have that rule, which by the states is not legal, then they should not sit you to then embarras you and ask you to leave. They were so concerned about the dog being there because I guess their worried about hygiene however there was a dead lizard under the table and the crumbs all over the bench. Not only was the waitress rude but she kept arguing with me that is not illegal to ask for paperwork, when it actually is. I usually don’t spend time writing reviews but the horrible experience we had that day unfortunately ruined our day. I recommend the owner to train...
Read moreFood is OK but service is horrible was sitting with my family for about 20 minutes and no one was serving us, I called a waiter over and asked sarcastically if anyone was working on our side of the restaurant and then they sent our server who was talking with someone the whole time but acted like nothing had happened when she came over to take our order. They took forever and the girl never came by and another waiter got our check because the original server never came by again. It just so happens that the people that sat behind our booth had the same exact waitress and the same thing happened to them they were sitting like for 15 minutes and they had to call the waitress over because she was MIA. So when time came to give the tip I gave her like 12% which was very generous considering the circumstances and immediately she came to see if everything was OK, obviously because of the tip amount cause i doubt she was so concerned since she never came back again, I said yeah all is fine and left. It's funny how some waiters don't want to give service and be attentive and somehow think they deserve 20-25% tip,...

Walking in to this restaurant, you will be happily immersed into a Cuban vibe by a greeting you do not understand. You will be invited to the table area to sit and momentarily be greeted again with a menu and another greeting you do not understand. Regardless, you feel most welcome.
After conveying your lack of Spanish comprehension, the waitress will smile politely and ask another waitress to attend your questions about a certain item on the Spanish/English menu.
After the order is confirmed, enjoy the lively environment of TVs, happy customers and shake mixers. Shortly thereafter, a generous meal portion will be paced in front of you. You do not plan on finishing so much, but can not resist the delicious fresh serving.
Completely (over) satisfied, your table is attended to promptly for dishes and drink refills. An offer for desserts is made by the waitress, but there is no room to even consider more food.
You will end the experience with a smile, but a greeting you are more familiar with, "Thank you....
