TV Guy — Local services in Hialeah

Short version: I needed to get a TV repaired. I live in Hollywood and needed to find someone that I trusted. I took a chance and called the TV Guy and I am so glad I did!

Long version: Everyone has a story and mine was that I needed to move my Mother in Law into an Assisted Living Facility and was hoping not to incur more expenses than necessary and to see if a TV that was not used for a while can be repaired. After talking to Ivan on the phone, we agreed since the TV would fit in my car that I would bring it over for him to evaluate. The cost was $40 but that can be used against the repair. Ivan is a second generation at the TV Guy started by his dad. Ivan has been in the business since he was a little kid (thanks to his Dad) and loves what he does. Ivan cares, which was evident when he realized that he could not repair the TV without it costing more than the TV was worth. What he did next was amazing; he started looking around the shop for a TV that he can offer our family (at a fair price) that would solve the issue with moving my MIL into her new home. Now that is someone who cares about people and the work that he does. I had to snap a couple of pictures because if you are lucky enough to meet his 4-legged protector Riley, you will fall in love! Where to start? After almost being ripped off by another tv repair man(who wanted to charge us triple what we ended up paying), we stumbled across TV Guy on google. We gave TV Guy a call and from the get go we were struck with professionalism and patience. We urgently made an appointment and Rick showed up at our door step the very next day. He was very patient with us and explained the repair every step of the way (never condescending, like are previous repair man was). He reassured us he would fix our TV no matter what and voila! We have a perfectly working tv less than a week later. The repair that had to be done was intricate and time consuming but unlike other repair guys no job is too big or small for TV Guy! Rick and his team of professionals were not only reliable, down to earth and an over all joy but also very professional and organized. He is worth every penny! I had a main board issue with my LG OLED TV. I called LG and they referred me to other electrical technicians. None of the technicians referred by LG took the time to assist me with my issue. I did a Google search for my area, and found TV Guy. I spoke to Ivan. Ivan was polite and EXTREMELY helpful. He took time from his busy schedule to answer my multiple calls and messages. He was honest in his evaluation of my TV issue, and gave me different options to solve the problem. In more than one occasion kept telling me his main concern was to help me get my TV fixed. He even gave me options so that I could save money. I am very pleased with TV Guy and Ivan. I will not hesitate to contact them again for any major electronic issues.
