I recently visited this store in search of a good quality mattress that was affordable. I had already looked at a few other stores but not only could I not find what I needed, I was swarmed by sales people and basically followed the entire time even after I told them several times I would come get someone if I needed assistance. When I did talk to them they just put a lot of pressure on me to buy things and it felt very uncomfortable. Hickory Furniture Market is the total opposite. The guys who work there let me shop on my own and did not make me feel pressured to buy. They were able to answer all of my questions and point me in the right direction. I ended up finding what I needed and left a very happy customer! I had no idea they could do custom mattresses and design them with your input layer by layer too! There is not to many places where you can get custom mattresses. Hickory Furniture Market is a god send whereas a full size mattress would have been to large for my needs and a twin definitely to small. I explained my situation to the representative and in no time a perfect mattress was crafted for maximizing space for my bedroom without loosing area space for a mattress too big or comfort going with a twin size. Speaking of twin size mattresses I also picked up bunk beds for my kids The Representative (Michael) even offered to assemble it himself!! I was in the market for a mattress and wanted to balance features with cost so I stopped in. I was expecting to get rushed by pushy salesmen but it was a totally laid back vibe and only one guy approached me after I had time to get my bearings and actually walk around a bit without being accosted. Mike offered to help and was very knowledgeable about everything and not pushy at all, just helpful. I eventually got it narrowed down to 2 mattresses but needed more time to think on it. No pressure at all, just a business card and he said to call him when I'm ready or if I had more questions.
