Bojangles — Restaurant in Hickory

Super disappointed with the experience I had on 04/25/17. Ordered a Cajun filet biscuit combo with grits and tea. I opened up the bag when I got to work literally "2 minutes away" the filet was hard as a brick and the grits were so hard I went outside dumped them on the ground and it bounced back and just about hit me in the forehead. I was upset but I wasn't heartbroken. I called the location to complain. I wasn't calling to get anything free I was just calling to complain. The "lady" I spoke to insisted that I come back the next morning or sometime in the week and she would take care of it for me. Told me and I quote, "Give them your name if I'm not here" Heavy on the insisted because I told her I wasn't calling to get anything free I was just upset and wanted to let someone know what happened. I woke up this morning 04/26/17 stopped by the location and went through the drive thru and told the lady about what happened and then a "male" manager began to speak with me and rudely asked me "Do you have the receipt", No. "Do you know what the manager's name was", No. "What time did you come in", 11am. Then proceeded to tell me as if I was lying to him about what happened "the next time you need to remember the name of the manager and keep your receipt." I guess that's protocol when you give someone food they can't eat the day before after sitting in line waiting on it for 30 minutes then get to work and can't eat it then have the manger tell you to come by and give them your "my" name and we'll take care of it for you. I have a full time job, 2 kids and a lawn that won't stop growing and a life. Sorry I couldn't remember the managers name I talked to and sorry I didn't keep a receipt for a $6 combo that I could have cared less about replacing but was told to come in and they "you" would take care of it. after ordering food, I ordered drinks. one being an unsweet tea for my diabetic wife. After returning home, my wife found it to be sweet tea. I returned it to the restaurant and asked for a Mgr. I asked the Mgr if he know what a sweet tea does to a type 1 diabetic. He smiled at me and replied " no, I have no idea". wrong way to answer. yes I let 1 cuss word slip out and was promptly told that I will not cuss in that family restaurant. I asked for the district Mgr's phone number and was told that the complaint number is on the bottom of the receipt and that is all I will get. I bought another unsweet tea and tried to pay for straws since they have not given straws without being asked for in 3 of the last 5 trips to that store. I return home and again a sweet tea. I return to the restaurant and informed the mgr, he tasted their unsweet tea and found it sweet. The Mgr went to the cooler and got a bucket of unsweet tea. His solution was to empty the container on the counter and poor unsweet tea into it. When I returned the second sweet tea the Mgr finally apologized. I left and went to Wendy's to get an unsweet tea. I just ordered a 12pc tailgate and a chicken supreme combo with fries First ... they were out of chicken because the cook decided it was time to go home so he cleaned instead of dropping chicken ... So I replaced a leg with a thigh.... no biggie Then they were out of fries i had to wait an additional 5 minutes ..so the "manager" told me he would give me bo berry biscuits for the wait .. i said ok I have 5 children .. his response "wow that's alot... let me go ask my manager" He comes back to the window and says "shes ok with that " but I had to wait 3 more minutes for the biscuits... he told me to pull up he would bring my food out Well about 10 minutes later a guy brings the food out and he said it's all there have a nice day They for got the cherry soda that went with the supreme combo and the box that held the tailgate was falling apart ... long story short .. I called inside to talk to the manager .. well guess who it was .. the man that took my order and lied to me about asking his female manager about they bo berry biscuits .. lol why lie? never again ... the chicken and rice was dried out the manager had a nonchalant attitude .. service and food was...
